With a personal yoga practice of 23 years, and 11 years of teaching and training yoga teachers under my belt, I am a Yoga Alliance accredited Senior Yoga Teacher with well over 1,200 hours worth of training including: Vinyasa Flow, Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy, Prana Flow, Yin, Kundalini, Tantra (in the non-dual traditions), Pre & Postnatal Yoga, Teaching Yoga & Mindfulness to Teens, Workin

g with Yoga & Eating Disorders, and Pilates. I was initiated into Transcendental Meditation 14 years ago but my current lineage is the Vimarsha Foundation, the home of Shaiva Shakta Tantra. I have had the great privilege of holding many women’s circles and have participated in numerous courses in women’s health including menstruality awareness and menopause. In addition, I also hold qualifications in Thai Yoga Massage, Embodiment Coaching, and Life Coaching. I am a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition. Oh, and I’m a published author! At present I am studying an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling at the Ironmill College in Exeter. In addition to this diploma course my current teachers include Deb Dana (Polyvagal Theory) and Diane Poole Heller (Attachment Theory). All of the work I create is trauma informed and heavily influenced through the theoretical frameworks of Stephen Porges and Peter Levine, along with other teachers in the fields of somatic work and understanding the body/mind as a ‘whole-istic' system. I integrate western psychology and eastern philosophy to practice what I call Body Intelligence. When I’m not teaching or creating content in my cabin you can find me wandering around the woods in the West Country of England with my dog Luna, or chasing sunsets on my paddle board.

One of the things I've become really intrigued about whilst I've been facilitating The Sacred Spiral course is the way in which our bodies move in spirals. In fact, we don't just move in spirals, we are inherently spiralic in nature.

The spiral is everywhere: galaxies swirl, vines curl (think of the fern), and the ocean tides roll in circles. The womb bleeds and renews in cycles, the moon waxes and wanes, the seasons flow in a never-ending cycle.

Spirals are found in structures all through the body, including our DNA, the helices that tiny actin filaments and other proteins form, the crossed-helical arrangement of collagen in muscular fascia, and the readily visible layered and crossed-spiral patterns in the muscles. Even the flow of our blood has been widely recognised as spiralic.

Energetically we have spirals in the form of chakras (energy vortices) that vary in number depending on which tradition or practice you align with. The Kundalini Shakti lies coiled at the base of the spine (3.5 or 2.5 times depending on the lineage) and when She is awakened, She spirals up the shushumna nadi to unite with Siva at the crown.

Linear movement belongs to the mind but spirals belong to the body. When we spiral, we bypass overthinking and drop into sensation. We meet the body where she already is: non-linear, intuitive, alive. Spiral movement is how life moves through us and this is what our focus will be on our Re-wild & Re-centre Half Day Retreat next month.

There are just two spaces left now so if a morning of blissful movement therapy, water therapy, and all-round nourishment for your nervous system is calling to you (you'll know, because your body will be responding to these words!) then I would love you to join us!

This event will be a wonderful evolution of all my training and experience to date and I can't wait to share with you.

Here’s what you can expect:
Spiral somatic movement for releasing fascia
Nervous system practices to tone the vagus nerve
Soulful + easeful Vinyasa Flow Yoga for nervous system support
Sonic massage through chanting
Swim + hot tub time in a serene private setting
Herbal teas, fresh smoothies + gut-supportive snacks
Archetypal Yoga Nidra to support the feminine psyche

When & Where:
Sunday 13th July 10:00AM - 2:00PM
oldrectoryhousesomerset, Kilve

I hope you will join me in spiralling your way back to freedom.

I’m beyond thrilled to share that the doors to The Sacred Spiral are now closed.

Stepping out into this new body of work was a little scary (to say the least!) but the response has been so encouraging and affirming. Thank you for witnessing this first spiral with such warmth and support.

As women, we give so much of ourselves in the first half of life - to careers, to children, to partners, to survival. But now, in this second half, we deserve to reclaim the life that fills our soul.

If you missed out this time, don’t worry, The Sacred Spiral isn’t going anywhere. She will only deepen and evolve the more I teach her.

If you’re curious about this soul work but unsure about joining a course, I invite you to stay connected through my newsletters (especially my Substack publication every Monday) and my shares on social media. You’ll still be weaving alongside us.

And yes, we will spiral again! The Sacred Spiral will return in the autumn. Keep an eye out over the coming months for dates.

In the meantime, thank you. Thank you for being part of this unfolding.

May you listen to the stirring of your heart, and may you be courageous enough to follow its call.

Your body is not a problem

It’s not broken. It’s not too much. It’s not too soft, too tired, too late

Your body is an oracle

A living spiral of memory, rhythm, and truth. She remembers what you’ve forgotten

We were never taught how to truly inhabit ourselves

How to listen. How to rest. How to trust the felt sense of yes, no, not yet

But there is a way back

A soft return. A sacred remembering. Not through force, but through presence

This is the heart of The Sacred Spiral - a 6-week in-person journey to reclaim the wisdom of your body

We begin on 21st May and only one space remains

If you feel the call, DM me

I created The Sacred Spiral because I know what it feels like to lose connection with yourself.

To be doing all the things, holding all the roles, but somewhere along the way… something sacred got silenced.

The Sacred Spiral came to me during a time when I was in between - in between identities, between cycles, between dreams. It offered me a path back. Not through fixing or striving, but through remembering.

Remembering the wisdom of my body.

Remembering the quiet power of ritual.

Remembering that I am cyclical, sacred, and whole - even in the mess.

This course is not a programme. It’s a return.

To your rhythm.

To your truth.

To the woman underneath all the roles and shoulds.

We begin on 21st May for 6 weeks, gathering together in a cosy space in Somerset.

There are only two spaces left in this intimate circle so if you’re reading this and something inside you whispers “yes”… That might be all the permission you need.

DM me if you’d like to feel into it.

The Spiral is already turning 🐚
