Speech Advance Speech Advance is a specialist Speech and Language Therapy service for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders.

Speech Advance is an independent speech and language therapy service run by Natalie Mincher-Lockett BScSLT MA, offering professional consultation, screening assessment, treatment programmes, advice and training for adults and carers, within peoples own homes and/or place of residence in Staffordshire, Shropshire and surrounding areas. The service provides speech and language therapy to adults with aquired speech, language and swallowing difficulties as a result of a wide variety of neurological conditions such as;
Parkinson’s (PD)
Motor neurones disease (MND)
Multiple sclerosis (MS)
Huntington’s disease (HD)
Stroke
Traumatic brain/ head injury
Brain surgery/tumor
Dementia
Other degenerative/ neurological disorders

Here is one seriously happy speech therapist!!!! And I’ll tell you why……. This morning I saw a client for a 6 month review! And I am beyond impressed!!!!! A few years ago he was involved in an accident that caused a severe head injury. He was unable to eat, to talk, to walk! We saw him for weekly therapy over a long period and have steadily reduced our input! He walked into my clinic today better than ever!!! So proud of him, and the people around him who help make his continued progress happen!
