Sunbed Don’ts – Stay Safe, Tan Smart! ☀️

We’re all about achieving that golden glow, safely. Here are a few things you should never do when using a sunbed:

🌴 Use tanning injections or nasal sprays – These are unregulated, unsafe, and can cause serious health issues.

🌴 Apply oils or lotions not designed for sunbed use – They can damage your skin and our beds. Always use salon-approved products.

🌴 Exceed your recommended exposure time – More time doesn’t mean a better tan. Overexposure can harm your skin.

🌴 Skip professional advice – Not every skin type is the same. Speak to us to create a safe, personalised tanning plan.

ATTENTION: Got sunburn?
If you’ve got or recently had sunburn (not unexpected with the weather we've been having) it’s best to hit pause on tanning for now; and here’s why:

At SunSupp, your skin’s health always comes first. Sunbeds should only be used on healthy, fully healed skin to avoid further irritation or damage.

🔥 Tanning on sunburned skin can make things worse, causing further irritation, peeling, or even long-term damage.
💧 Let your skin recover fully: hydrate, moisturise, and avoid UV exposure until any redness or sensitivity is gone.
⏳ Once healed, start back slowly with a short session tailored to your skin type, and always ask our team for guidance.
