We’re launching a series of assistive technology workshops for gaming industry students, all about making games more accessible and inclusive from the ground up.

According to Accessibility.com, people with disabilities make up about 20% of the gaming population. So why not build games that everyone can enjoy?

Led by our assistive tech experts, these in-person workshops will explore inclusive design, accessibility features, and third-party solutions at our disability gaming centre in the heart of Sale, Manchester. 🎮💛

We are incredibly pleased to announce that Melaine Lang an incredible Sea of Thieves player and supporter of the charity is doing the Great North Swim this weekend doing the full 10K swim the longest swim in the event! She has chosen to do this as an opportunity to fundraise for us and we are delighted that she has done!! We wish her all the best for this weekend and the best of luck! We're sure she'll smash it!
And of course a massive thank you for supporting our cause to helping disabled people to game away!

🚴‍♂️We are so touched and proud to share that Joel Turner, one of our incredible gaming parents, is taking on the KROMVOJOJ Ultra Cycle Race this June to raise money for Everyone Can. Joel’s son Harry has been attending our gaming sessions while he’s been unwell and unable to attend school, and Joel’s words mean the world to us

“These guys have been absolute life savers... the support they’ve provided, the people we’ve met through their events and the chance to see Harry have a couple of hours of being happy have all been incredible.”

Now, Joel is about to cycle over 1,000 miles with 28,000m of climbing (yes, mountain passes and all) to raise funds for the work we do supporting disabled children through tech, gaming, connection and care. We’re honestly in awe and so grateful. If you can spare a few pounds to back Joel and help us keep supporting more kids like Harry, you can donate via his JustGiving page

To help celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we are celebrating our ongoing 3-year relationship with Google, helping to spread awareness of accessible gaming through the Google ADC Centres. Using fully playable examples of assistive gaming tech, we are highlighting to industry and the public how disabled people are able to join in on the fun. The centres now span across over 9 countries, including England, Germany, Switzerland and Ireland. Gaming should be enjoyed by all!

One of Everyone Can's awesome friends is due to put his body through the pain barrier this Sunday, as he helps people with diverse abilities to achieve greater independence and wellbeing by runing the Manchester Marathon for Everyone Can.

Today is World Autism Awareness Day 🎮💛

At Everyone Can, we’re proud to celebrate and stand with the autistic community, not just today, but every day. Many of the amazing children and young people who come to our centre are autistic. Through accessible technology and gaming, we help create spaces where they can feel safe, connected, and confident to be themselves.

We're working towards a world where neurodiversity is celebrated and everyone feels included! 🎮💛
