📞 Medication Requests – Help Us Keep the Line Open 💊

We have a dedicated phone line for patients who are unable to use the NHS App or online services to order their repeat prescriptions.

However, we're noticing more calls from patients who are already set up and able to use these digital options.

👉 If you can use the NHS App or online services, please continue to do so.
This helps us keep the phone line available for those who truly need it, such as elderly or vulnerable patients who cannot access digital tools.

The Men's Wild Haven is a unique and supportive space just for men, starting Tuesday 3rd June, running fortnightly for 8 sessions, from 6–8pm.

Join every session or just drop in for one. You'll be welcomed into a group focused on mindfulness, resilience, and connection through activities like greenwood working and woodland skills.

Don’t forget to protect yourself with the right travel vaccinations!

We provide:
Hepatitis A
Tetanus/Diptheria/Polio
Typhoid
These are NHS vaccines so there is no fee.

You will need these at least six weeks before travel, so contact us in plenty of time to arrange them.

We cannot give Hepatitis B, Rabies, Yellow Fever, or Japanese encephalitis.

Any other vaccine courses will need to be sourced privately.

Dr Lisa Roberts has been a GP Partner here at Brotton Surgery since 1998.
It is with mixed emotions that we are to announce that Dr Roberts will be retiring from her role at the end of January 2025.

Dr Roberts has been the best colleague we could ever have wished for and will be much missed by all of us here – and we're sure by the very many patients she has looked after over the years. Our area has been fortunate to have Dr Roberts caring for the community in a traditional family Doctor role for all these years, tending to many patients from birth to adulthood.

We're sure that our patients will want to join our team in sending our huge thanks to Dr Roberts and wishing her a very happy retirement.

Dr Roberts says 'Thank you to all the patients I have seen over the years. Patients have been marvellous and although the job has been challenging at times I have enjoyed my time at Brotton. I am now ready for a new chapter in life to begin. I will miss everyone at the Surgery.'
