The first Fair Access and Threshold engagement event took place yesterday on Bute.

Locals told us it is important to them that people receive services close to home, on the island so they can stay connected to their community, and are close to family. We also heard shared concerns about the pause to the improvement works at Thomson Court. All this feedback will be shared in the engagement report.

Why are we consulting? Care at home is the main way in which we provide adult social care in our communities. This consultation outlines some of the challenges we have in delivering this important care and how we are proposing to respond to that. Our challenges:
