A specialist area of physiotherapy focussing on all issues relating to key stages during a woman's lifetime from pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal period, through to menopause and beyond. We can help improve your health, fitness and well-being at any stage. Recognising the sensitivity around some of these issues and the importance of providing a private, discrete and relaxed environment we can offer either a clinic appointment or we can visit you in your home, with mobile equipment, to discuss specific concerns. Hours are flexible and appointments may be worked around your schedule. 13/01/20 I walked into the physio dept for the first time to take on the role of clinical lead/manager of the service …6 years on and what a journey it’s been…looking at these photos the themes are clear …me and “my pelvis” out on the road, babies, birthdays, fun, laughter, friendship and food feature large😅
Above all I feel such gratitude for the fabulous “work family” that have grown around me supporting me steadfastly and always showing up to deliver the best possible service for all the wonderful women we care for.
The people I have met over the past 6 years, the volumes I have learnt and the friendships forged along the way have made this an unforgettable period in my life.
Here’s to keeping the Journey going… 🙏🏻🥂🙌🏻😍🫶

A patient I saw last week sent me this message adding that,after years of searching, she felt our session provided the “missing piece of the jigsaw” and finally made sense of her symptoms providing her with a way forward that made her feel hopeful for the first time in a long time.

…I LOVE my job and what we do as pelvic physiotherapists …such a multifaceted role that really can make a difference to people’s suffering and improve quality of life . 🙏🏻🫶☀️

Good to be accurately quoted in this article about the use of vi*****rs in managing pelvic pain associated with sexual activity and other symptoms of sexual dysfunction.
Enjoyed a rich discussion with .science last week about developing new products that are hovering across the line line between pleasure and health.
As a pelvic physiotherapist I was explaining how there is certainly a place for utilising the growing development of “sex tech” within our management of persistent pain/sensitisation around sexual activity.
But it will only be a successful adjunct if the person recognises the physical and psychological factors feeding into the context of their suffering.
And knows where to seek specialist support from the multidisciplinary team.
