⌘Athens Marathon.
This race humbled me in ways I never saw coming. The hills, the heat, and the long stretches where doubt tried to take over. It forced me to dig deeper than I ever have, and it taught me a new level of respect for what a marathon truly stands for.
A marathon is not just a distance. It is patience, grit, discipline, and the quiet courage to keep moving when everything feels heavy. It shows you who you are when comfort disappears.
I kept going. One step, one breath, one promise to myself that I would not quit. Crossing that finish line felt like earning a new version of myself.
I want to thank Theo for being there every single meter, guiding me and keeping me steady. I want to thank my wife, my partner in crime, for her support through every part of this journey. I want to thank my son for reminding me why I push myself. I want to thank my friends who showed up to cheer and lift my spirits when I needed it most.
I finished with gratitude, respect for the distance, and a deeper belief that we can do hard things. If you are chasing something challenging, keep going. You are stronger than you think.
