Today Cedric had a visit from Annabel at Windsor Equine Spinal Care.

Knowing the contact issues were out of character for Cedric I decided to look into what could be causing it and narrowed it down to my saddle not fitting 100% probably due to his changing of shape recently. This was confirmed today as Annabel noted that he is sore in his back (instant horse mum guilt!!)

It was a reminder that you should always listen to your horse as 99% of the time if they do something they wouldn’t usually do, they’re trying to tell you something!

Luckily my jump saddle is fitting well enough for us to use whilst I get a new dressage saddle sorted.
