🌿 A few spaces left for Sunday evening…

If you’ve been meaning to take a moment for yourself, this might be your sign.

I’ve still got a handful of spaces left for my Sound Bath this Sunday (19th April, 7pm at Castle Connections) - including a few 2:1 tickets if you’d like to bring a friend along 💛

This session is all about slowing down…
✨ easing tension
✨ calming the nervous system
✨ and giving yourself space to rest and reset

Expect soft, immersive sounds from crystal bowls, chimes, and drums — no experience needed, just come as you are and get comfortable.

🧘 Bring a mat, blanket & pillow
🌙 A quiet, cosy space to fully switch off

If it’s been a busy or heavy few weeks, this is a gentle way to pause and breathe again.

This Friday (17th April) brings the Dark Moon in the month of Willow.

This is a time of soft resilience - like the willow that bends but does not break. A moment to rest, reflect, and notice what has been hard won… and what you’re ready to hold onto more deeply.

Willow carries themes of healing, protection, and the gentle power of the feminine. It reminds us that what we set in motion now - especially through intention or “binding” - will return to us in time.

So as we move into this Friday’s dark moon, keep it simple.
Rest. Reflect. Be mindful of what you’re calling in… and what you’re choosing to keep.

A light in the dark doesn’t rush the night away… it simply holds a space within it.

Maybe that’s all we’re being asked to do too.

There’s a quiet moment that seems to be showing up a lot at the moment.

That space where you’re not quite where you were… but not fully where you’re going either.

Things feel a little slower.
A little softer.
Maybe even a bit uncertain.

And everything in the world says you should be doing something about that.

Figuring it out.
Pushing forward.
Getting back on track.

But sometimes this in-between space isn’t something to fix.

It’s somewhere to sit. To rest in for a while.
To listen a little more closely. To let things settle without rushing to name them.

Nature does this all the time.

There are pauses between tides.
Moments of stillness before growth returns.
Spaces where nothing seems to be happening… and yet something is quietly changing beneath the surface.

If you’re in one of those spaces right now,
you’re not behind.
You’re not doing it wrong.

You’re just in a threshold.

Does this resonate with you at the moment?

1000 days sober just seemed to slip past without fanfare. In reality, I hadn’t updated my tracker for a month or so and didn’t notice..

You’d think by this point it would just be second nature - that the need or want for a drink would be long gone. But there are still days where that urge starts to bubble up.

Those lighter evenings… that picture of sitting in the garden with a cold beer or a glass of wine.
Those sh*tty days at work when it feels like everyone you meet is trying to p**s you off.
Those days when the monkey brain won’t shut up, and you know there’s a quick way to silence it.

But there are new ways now, when that urge comes trotting up and starts whispering in your ear.

Lose yourself in a good book.
Let your brain farts flow with a bit of art.
The simple pleasure of a long, hot bath.

And some days it’s easy, and some days it really isn’t.

But I’ve learnt that the urge passes whether I drink or not.
The difference is how I feel afterwards.

So I keep choosing the version of me that I actually want to wake up as.
