There are sooooo many benefits to strength training I really don't have enough space to share here 🤣 suffice to say, it should be an integral part of everyone’s routine! Over the course of the next few days we will explore these benefits in more detail 😁
Working with good technique and at the appropriate intensity is hugely important to ensure desired results.
Regardless of age or fitness level strength training helps build a solid base for overall health and quality of life and it’s so easy to do!

Just a few words to say thank you to all my past, present and new clients, followers and supporters, I wouldn’t be able to do the valuable work I do without you and I truly appreciate you!
This year I’ve made a slow but steady return to my private practice and with the recent change in venue in the mix I’m very pleased with how things have turned out and looking forward to welcoming my new January clients to this lovely warm space.
I’m not done for the year yet, my December newsletter, Winter Solstice, Christmas and New Year messages still to come but for now in the run up to C Day, enjoy the wind down! 😉

December is the perfect time to:
✨Start to wind down: Yep, now is the time to give yourself permission to slow down. If you’ve got a busy Christmas planned, take some time for yourself to breathe and give yourself space. You’ll think more clearly and enjoy getting ready for the festivities.
✨Reflect on the year: Take a moment to reflect on the year and appreciate all you’ve achieved. Think about what went well and what needs work. What will you do more of and what will you let go of.
✨Prepare intentions for 2025: Where would you like to be in a year’s time. What daily, consistent actions can you take to get there? How will you show up for yourself and others in this next 365 page chapter. What’s important to you?
✨Connect with Loved Ones: Spend meaningful time with those who cheer you on, even if it’s just a quick call or a ‘coffee’ catch-up. Relax and enjoy the gatherings and get-togethers, parties and celebrations 🎉
✨Give Back: Acts of kindness—big or small—can brighten someone else’s day as well as your own. Supporting others can take your mind off your worries and help you feel good about yourself.

This is an interactive and educational session that will give you strategies you can put into practice straight away. With consistency these strategies can help improve your circumstances and get you back to doing the activities you love with confidence.
No muscle works in isolation and this includes the pelvic floor. So a squeeze here and there really isn’t going to do too much. In this workshop we talk about integration with the rest of the body which gets greater results.
It takes on average 7 years for someone to ask for help with a pelvic health issue, I want to change that by providing a safe space for you to learn and practice tested strategies that get real results.
Recommended for all age groups, after pregnancy and birth to peri and post menopause, abdominal surgery such as c-section, hysterectomy, hernia repair, Diastasis, stress/urge/faecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, recovering from cancer, this workshop will be hugely valuable to you.

Both Dorsiflexion (as pictured) and your ability to Plantarflex (point your toes) can both enhance your ability to connect with your Pelvic Floor muscles and the rest of your core, sooooo for best results, your ‘Pelvic Floor Exercise’ programme needs to include mobility work for ankles too!
