Wild Earth Dance Our gatherings are rooted in mindful ecstatic dance and reclaiming our humanity. This is an empowering practice. No dance experience or partner is necessary.

These gatherings are alchemical for the mind, body and emotions and are centred around a free-form movement /dance inspired by music, invitations and suggestions, allowing our bodies to move freely without judgment or concern ‘for the “grace” or beauty of the dance. When we learn to really trust our body and the wisdom that is always talking to us, we can more easily live from a place of truth, fu

lfilmentand and soul integrity. This practice is a perfect outlet for those who think they “can’t dance” and for experienced dancers alike. It is in an environment without observers or conversation. All walks of life are welcomed, and whilst there is no religious aspect connected to the dance, they do support our spiritual journey in life, whatever inclination or beliefs that we may each sway to. We feel stuck, depressed, held back, and frustrated when our energy is not flowing freely, our sessions unlock these restrictions and opens us up to the possibilities of discovering and allowing our true creative, joyful nature to emerge. The classes are facilitated by Maria Barnicoat, and long term participants often proclaim that these sessions have proved life changing for them. After finding the freedom in ecstatic dance, it us clear to see why dance has been an intrinsic part of our expression in every culture since time began.

TONIGHT WE BEGIN ❤️

Senti opens up a whole world of being, holding and evolving.

Yesterday, I experienced Senti and I instinctively chose to land in my deep feminine receptivity, but the possibilities for encountering different parts of your more polarised natures are endless and full of potential for our own personal exploration into all the parts of ourselves that may not get to come out and play so much.

Within just one dance, my experience led me to a blissful relaxation state where my nervous system let go and I felt a liberation from some uncomfortable bodily sensations of tension I'd been experiencing up until that moment.

I'm fairly used to close partnership dance as I dance Kizomba in latin american dance gatherings, but it has taken me years to let myself surrender in Kizomba. However, Kizomba is not considered a conscious dance, and the space is not held so it's really a lone wolf and exposing process of trusting within a busy space where people are usually consuming alcohol too, hence why I believe it took me a long time to feel (more) comfortable.

This experience was very different. I've been calling in a conscious partner dance like this for a while now and we get to dance intuitively with each other in a held, sacred space with the pioneer of this dance, with each of us stepping into a more vulnerable arena of what we might be used to.

Moving outside our comfort zones will happen. But it only needs to happen gently, and as many of you know I'm a firm believer that growth and liberation happens on the edge of our comfort.

TONIGHT We will be very aware of those of you stepping into this who have deep challenging stories around closeness, and we honour and hold space for what that may or may not bring up for you. As always we get to step back and voice our preferences at ANY time. Empowerment also comes from feeling safe to find our voices. The space is a sacred ground for true expression of all our yesses and no's too.

🌟 An extra little note about tonight: it is not a couples dance per se but is a beautiful tool for deepening connection to a committed partner. Come single or otherwise!

.Rising will be collaborating with Bartek Zielinski to offer a fun, playful day of exploring connection through intuitive dance and conscious touch ✨️

Bartek has an incredible gift for supporting people to connect in this way and will be flying over from Bali to share his amazing work here in Jersey ✈️

Julie will be running the workshop alongside Bartek to support the somatic experience of the practices and a deepening of your internal experience.

Senti is somatic in nature and supports us to move into a place of safety and connection. And as many of us know already - this is where the healing and magic happens! 🤍

You will be guided through the practices from a place of comfort and ease. The whole workshop is offered in a way which allows you to stay within your comfort zone if you wish, or venture outside of it at your own pace.

No previous experience with dance is necessary. All that is required is a willingness to try something new and a friend or partner to come with (option to come alone also).

Bartek will only be here in Jersey for 10 days in June so if you'd like to experience his unique work, we suggest booking soon as we only have a limited amount of spaces.

He will also be offering 1:1 Somatic Rewiring sessions whilst he is over.
