Prep for next week’s workshop - always my favourite part.
I start thinking about the bodies that will walk into the room… and what will actually help them feel different when they leave.

Most people don’t come with a posture problem.
They come feeling tight, stuck, like their body just won’t soften no matter how much they stretch.
Because it’s rarely flexibility.
It’s a nervous system that doesn’t feel safe enough to let go yet.

So we slow down. Breath, small movements, regulation first - and the spine reorganises on its own.

If your body’s been asking for a different kind of release, you’re very welcome to join us next week.

Living in a body that feels tight, heavy, or constantly “on” is exhausting.

That tightness isn’t a lack of flexibility.
It’s the nervous system doing its best to hold things together under load.

Lasting change doesn’t come from forcing the body to open.
It comes from creating enough safety for the spine and nervous system to soften on their own.

In this workshop, we work with breath, spine, and nervous system regulation to support that process - gently, intelligently and in a way that fits real life.

If you’re longing to feel steadier, lighter, and more at home in your body, I’d love you to join us.

What if your back pain isn’t really about your back?
A tight neck.
Heavy shoulders.
A lower spine that never fully lets go.
You stretch.
You roll out.
And still - the tension returns.
Not because your spine is weak.
Because it’s overwhelmed.

The spine isn’t just structural. It’s energetic.
When it stops moving as it’s designed to, energy stalls.
Stalled energy becomes stress, stiffness, fatigue.
Real change doesn’t come from forcing flexibility.
It comes from restoring intelligent, supported movement.

In Kundalini, we work with the spine to make it fluid, strong, responsive - so energy flows again, posture lifts and tension releases.

On February 21st, I’m hosting a Kundalini workshop focused on spinal alignment, flexibility and releasing deep-held stress from the inside out.

This is where your spine becomes a source of strength, not strain.

We’re taught to live around discomfort.
Stretch it away. Power through it. Normalize it.
But many of the aches we accept as “just part of life” are quiet messages from the spine -
asking for space, movement, attention.

The spine isn’t only about posture.
It’s about how energy moves.
How the nervous system regulates.
How supported you feel physically and internally.

In February, I’m sharing something designed to work with the spine directly - not just to release tension, but to restore communication between body, breath, and awareness.

More soon.

Last weekend I completed a 40-hour japa meditation retreat, chanting the Mul Mantra, and I’m still integrating, if I’m honest.

The space was held beautifully by and - grounded, devotional, and deeply supportive in all the ways that matter.

It was tough, beautiful, humbling and life-affirming all at once.

At first, a lot of resistance surfaced. My mind had opinions. My body had questions. But by staying with the practice something softened. What came through were powerful insights and a sense of being held by the mantra itself, unlike anything I’ve experienced before.

As a very air-sign, logical, in-my-head human, dropping into the heart and allowing myself to receive doesn’t come easily. And yet… this practice gently, steadily guided me there.

We chanted continuously in two groups - two-hour slots through the day and four-hour shifts through the night(surprisingly, the night chants felt easier somehow).

Despite being a little sleep-deprived, I feel clear, energised and deeply centred - like something fundamental has shifted.

I’ll be carrying this practice forward for the next 40 days, and I already know it’s changing how I listen, how I teach and how I show up.

If you’re feeling called to deepen your meditation practice, this is something they hold every year and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Over the coming months, I’ll be weaving more japa mantra meditation into my classes and planning a dedicated workshop so you can experience some of the beautiful benefits for yourself:
✨ quieting mental noise
✨ strengthening focus and intuition
✨ opening the heart
✨ supporting emotional and energetic balance

When I first qualified as a yoga teacher, I taught at full throttle.

I gave everything to my students, held space wherever I could and slowly, stopped leaving space to be held myself.

My own practice became something I squeezed in,
rather than something that sustained me.

Over the past year, I’ve been gently rebalancing that.
Making room again for my own practice.
Letting myself be a student.
Letting myself rest, question, and receive.
It’s an ongoing intention, one I’m carrying into 2026 - and it feels good.
Steadier. More honest.

Teaching doesn’t have to mean self-sacrifice.
Our practice deserves care too.

How do you make space for your own practice while holding space for others? 🤍

Yoga isn’t a performance of transcendence.
It’s a practice of staying.

Much of what we label as “spiritual” is simply survival - learned calm, enforced positivity, curated detachment developed when feeling wasn’t safe.

This isn’t a call-out.
It’s an invitation to choose honesty over impressiveness, presence over polish.

If this feels uncomfortable, take note.
Discomfort is often where the real work begins.
Save it. Sit with it. Breathe.

Feeling drained, stressed, or disconnected after the festive season? 🌿

Here’s how to shift inward, energise your body, and reconnect with yourself — exactly what we do in my Kundalini classes.

3 ways we do it:
💫 Body: Kundalini movement to release tension, energise, and tap into your chakras
🧘 Mind: Meditation & breathwork to settle the mind and restore clarity
✨ Soul: Mantra practice to connect with yourself and receive inner guidance

When you bring these three together, practice becomes restorative, grounding, and deeply nourishing.

💫 Join me in a class — in person or online — and start the year feeling energised, balanced, and connected.

Classes this month:

Space to Move: Fri 9 Jan | 19:15–20:30 & Sat 24 Jan | 18:00–19:15

Yoga Blend: Sun 11 Jan | 11:00–12:00

On Sunday we gathered for our annual Great 108 workshop, surrounded by such a lovely group of yogis.

This practice holds a special place in my heart, and the sound bath afterwards felt like the perfect way to integrate it.

The feedback was so lovely - for many, it was exactly what they needed to step into the new year. A reminder that we’re capable of more than we often believe. Some even felt they could have kept going after the final 108 🤍

So grateful to everyone who joined and brought their energy, presence, and openness. Thank you for helping create such a beautiful start to 2026 ✨🙏

Before setting goals, ask yourself — how do you want to feel this year?

Energised. Clear. Grounded. Present.
Confident in yourself and in your ability to meet whatever lies ahead.

The Great 108 is a powerful way to begin the year. Through movement and breath, we start by doing something challenging — not to push or prove, but to reconnect with strength, resilience, and inner steadiness.

This moving meditation awakens sun energy, clears mental fog, and leaves you feelinkg grounded, focused, and quietly confident.
