Approaching the middle of November, and it still has not rained to dampen the earth.. It is very beautiful, no doubt about that and the clouds are promising the possibility of rain in the coming days. A little rain now, after the driest, hottest summer would be a blessing for all. RAIN - the olive trees are crying for it, the animals and birds are desperate for it, our agricultural community is relying on it, and people are exhausted by the lack of it. Climate disruption is real.

Do you ever get this strong urge to do something that reconnects to being a kid? Lot's of opportunities with grandchildren but today, I am reliving my own childhood through my tastebuds. I've added some adult twists; I suppose I've grown up a bit.
Fish fingers on sourdough, olive oil and of course ketchup. My inner kid is very happy. 😊
