There is strength in saying that you need a break and taking a short pause for yourself, even just for a few slow breaths before moving on to the next thing 💪. Sometimes we think strength is by always pushing on, rushing, and always busy, but we aren't machines. This takes us towards burnout and exhaustion.

Sometimes, we move so fast that it's actually really hard to slow down, scary even, to pause.

But life moves in cycles - action and rest. You can’t give from an empty cup. Will you find a moment to pause this weekend? 🌿🌞

After many months of hard work, late nights sanding and painting, and so much time and effort put into every decision to create something unique and special, I'm very happy to announce that my home yoga studio is now complete 🙌😍🥂❤️!

For me, a space is so much more than floors, walls and a ceiling. A space is a feeling, an energy. So I'm proud to say that after pouring in a lot of time and love into it, this is a space that welcomes every body, every story, and every breath ❤️. This calm and positive space welcomes you whatever you have going on, and offers a sanctuary away from the stresses of everyday life🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️.

A special shout out to Chris Turner who made the most beautiful bespoke oak finished storage unit for the studio. So much time, care, thought, and planning went into this very special masterpiece. I can't thank you enough 🙏.

I am proud to say that this yoga studio and its contents, designed especially for private and small group yoga, has been created with love ❤️. Come and join me on the mat😊!

It’s been such a joy to share yoga this week 🥰. A week full of variety — from sessions supporting those with anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, and ADHD, to finishing with a relaxing chair yoga session. I’m so grateful to my lovely clients for coming to yoga and so proud to see them weaving yoga into their everyday lives 🌟.

So often I hear, “I can’t do yoga because I’m not flexible/strong/fit…” — but this isn’t true. Yoga meets you exactly where you are, whatever your physical or emotional state. You can do yoga — and you might just discover it’s something you love 💜☀️

Hey lovely people, how are you doing? I mean, actually, how are you...

The last few weeks I've noticed a lot of yoga students and people around me seem more exhausted, depleted, and overwhelmed by the constant pressure of life, and things to do. If this is you, you're not alone ❤️! Something I now do is staple on 10 minutes at the end of a busy day, to look after my wellbeing and help regulate my nervous system.

Maybe this is something you could try, too. I find when life is busy, stapling on a few extra minutes to an existing routine like when you wake up, or before bed, is manageable and so needed. It could be some yoga movement, dancing around, singing, a cold shower, taking a few breaths into your belly, whatever works for you 🌟👌❤️. Let me know how you get on 😊

It's been such a busy and intense few weeks, and last night I was feeling exhausted and rubbish. So I did some yoga, focusing specifically on activating each of the nerves of my parasympathetic nervous system - This helped me de-stress, unwind, self-regulate, and basically bring myself back to feeling like me ☀️🧘‍♀️ And wow it really worked! I slept soo well and today I feel like new 🙌.

I'll be sharing more of these tools with clients these next weeks. When our nervous system is in balance, it helps us improve energy, emotional resilience, and well-being, helping us avoid chronic stress and burnout ☀️. Learning these techniques is so powerful, and something we can all really benefit from.

It seems like a lot of people are struggling right now - exhausted and too much to do. If this is you, I hear you ❤️. Did you know a simple sigh out through your mouth can help release some tension and calm your nervous system?

Take a full slow breath in through your nose and sigh out all of the air through your mouth. I love this quick and easy technique to help reset your nervous system. It's something you can do anytime, and it might just help you find a little more ease in your day ❤️🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️🙏
