Let’s talk about birthing the placenta, this part of birth is bot often spoke about 🤓

➡️ It feels surprisingly satisfying.
There’s often a real sense of relief, like you suddenly feel less full.

☁️ The placenta is soft, and when it’s born it usually folds in on itself.

🍽️ It doesn’t come out flat like a dinner plate, and it doesn’t usually hurt in the way people imagine.

🏁 It’s often the point where you feel finished.
Although after this, your midwife will check your perineum and va**na to see whether any stitches are needed and make sure you’re comfortable and well.

(This usually includes a PR… I’ve got another video on that 😉)

I’m always curious to see peoples reactions when they see the placenta.
