This week we are celebrating Apprentices from all walks of lives and all wonderful careers, especially those closer to our professional hearts, in dietetic profession.

For this reason we have caught up with Angelica, 2nd Year MSc Dietetics and Leadership Apprentice who tells us what attracted her to the dietetic course and what she enjoys most so far.

🍊What attracted me to the dietetics apprenticeship?

The opportunity to further my education and progress into the role of a Dietitian. The apprenticeship route allows me to continue earning whilst I study and I am able to ask for support from the Dietitians at work regarding assignments and group tasks so I get multiple perspectives which helps with my learning.

🍊What I enjoy the most so far?

Understanding the evidence behind the way dietetics works and how it is applied in practice. I also enjoyed my B placement where theory was put into practice and having more independence as a student in a practical environment.
