Yesterday, just after 1 o’clock, following a lovely walk on the Glen Golf Course and west beach in North Berwick, our beautiful, adored boy, Lockie, took his final, deep breath and fell fast asleep after a brave battle with his kidneys.

He leaves behind a huge and unfillable hole, following 12 happy years of unconditional love, affection and fun.

He was very stoic, very handsome and oh so wise. Anyone who met him loved him and also his bonkers and seemingly limitless energy and huge zest for life. He preferred human company to other dogs and he had a very good way of making his feelings known, without the need to speak.

He was the kindest boy and he touched so many people’s lives with his kindness and playfulness.

We loved him so much and we shall miss him enormously. Our hearts are well and truly broken.

To the world, he was a dog. But to us, he was the world.

What the heck is Barre?
Barre (pronounced bar) is a fun fusion of dance, Pilates, strength and yoga - choreographed to upbeat music it is fun, challenging and addictive!
It is the class that makes you smile and forget that you’re doing exercise!

How do I book?
Head to website and search barre … get booked in!

What do I need to bring?
A mat if you have one, and water … a smile if you can but I’ll provide that by the end if not! 😊

I’ve never done it before will I be ok/alone/?
Absolutely anyone can do barre - no experience required. A sense of fun helps!
Many people come for the first time and get addicted!!
If you are alone PLEASE do come… it’s a great way to spend time with yourself and meet others too.

A week into our trip and we’ve had a few dramas along the way but feel rested and my knee is feeling stronger every day!

Found the most beautiful beach with sea so clear and turquoise you could have been fooled into believing it was the Caribbean 🌊

H A P P Y S O L S T I C E

I love the longer days and it’s no secret I love the sun. I am definitely a summer yang being!

Teaching on Thursday for the solstice was as always a great joy and to be joined by so many people was just lovely. I love sharing yoga (still after many years) and the magic… my lantern burns for all of you who share it with me 🫶🏻

One client, wrote this poem for me after the yoga and sent to me as thanks 🙏🏻

I love it and just couldn’t say it better…. ❤️

Why is it needed? Why do we need to mark a whole month… let’s make this clear … it’s needed because

🏳️‍🌈Straight people aren’t murdered for being straight
🏳️‍🌈It’s never been illegal to be straight
🏳️‍🌈Straight people have never had to fight for the right to be married

And maybe the one that will hit you most..

🏳️‍🌈You don’t hear kids saying “that’s so straight” as an insult

Oh how can it be!!!!

Tomorrow morning is the anniversary of our first online yoga class
