Emily Andrew - Integrative Therapist - We Are MindBody Integrative Therapist; Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, Advanced EFT Tapping Practitioner, Eating Disorder Practitioner, Pilates & Barre Instructor

I’m an Integrative Therapist. Qualifications include Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, Accredited, Certified Advanced EFT (Tapping) Practitioner, Eating Disorders Practitioner with a background in fitness and performing arts. I work intuitively with you to understand, accept and release anything that may be challenging or keeping you feeling stuck in your life. After experiencing and recovering from a decade of eating disorders and mental health illnesses I use my lived experience, training, skills and knowledge to support and empower you to find freedom and thrive. I qualified as a Pilates teacher in 2014 and then went on to become a PT and Barre teacher but have always been passionate about mental health and eating disorders due to my own background. After qualifying as an Integrative Therapist, my main focus has shifted into working with people 1-1, creating safe spaces for those who need support with their mental health or overcoming eating disorders and disordered eating. Although I still teach classes around the Cheltenham area and run a monthly membership site. My approach integrates the mind-body and uses a mixture of evidence-based practices, personal experience and intuition to help you move from frozen to free with effective, long lasting results.

It’s quite simple really…

This is a question I get asked so often.
It’s quite an easy answer too.
I’d I’m honest, I didn’t 100% believe EFT worked when I started using it. The way I was told about it just didn’t land for me and it wasn’t until I started diving deep into the research that I was able to be open to the possibility that it could work. Then when I trained and had to do sessions with clients it was like my eyes opened. Some of the results from single sessions were incredible and even if there weren’t massive shifts, the person I was working with had a tool that they could use outside our sessions to support them in day-to-day life, if they were feeling anxious, stressed or overwhelmed.
So the only thing you lose giving it a go is 5 minutes. Why not!?

Last year was a really great one, I introduced EFT to individuals, businesses, charities and festivals through workshops and group tapping experiences.
I also had the honour of working with some incredible people on a range of different issues, here's just some of them;
- overcoming social anxiety
- reducing severe cravings associated with addictions
- sleep issues
- overcoming fears of food
- addressing body image disatisfaction
- opening up again after heartbreak
- reconnecting with the body
- releasing emotions associated with trauma
- exam anxiety
- phobias
-supporting eating disorder recovery

The results that you can get when you combine mind and body therapeutic approaches together using a tool like EFT really is amazing. It's great for those who have done traditional talking therapy and haven't seen much in the way of results.

Easy to learn, safe to apply and really effective when applied correctly.

Meet Emily

I'm Emily, a Pilates teacher,Personal trainer and Self Published Author from Cheltenham. Giving men and women of all ages and fitness types the opportunity to become healthier, happier and more balanced in body and mind. ​ I qualified as a Level 3 Pilates Teacher in April 2014 with Michael King and completed my Level 3 Personal Training qualification soon after. Since then I have been working with clients from the ages of 15 to 85 helping them to achieve their goals and more. ​ I work in person and online to bring easily accessible, effective Pilates workouts and courses to everyone. I am passionate about Pilates and aim to introduce people to a highly effective and sustainable form of exercise, which can transform their bodies and attitudes to life. ​ I believe in creating a healthy mind and body, through intentional movement, enjoyable exercise fighting weight stigma, diet culture and disordered eating behaviours.
