How much do you listen?

Openly listen? Without the need to label or identify or judge the sounds or respond to them?

This morning, I let go of the need to identify the birds here at our Move Breathe Be nature session at Gracemount Mansion. And instead, I allowed the sounds to arrive at my ears. I widened the aperture of my ears to take it all in.

And what happened? A beautiful sense of peace and spaciousness is what happened. The grip in my chest softened, my shoulders dropped and I found myself take a deep deep sigh.

It only took five minutes, I wasn't trying to make anything happen. I just opened up my ears and it felt like my heart then did the same!

What if you took five minutes to step away from your schedule, desk, routine, open your window or step outside and listen to what's here now with an open curiousity. Not searching for or gripping to anything, just openly listening?

✨ Free Outdoor Weekly Wellness at Gracemount Mansion – Join our community! ✨

Hi fb friends! I’m looking for a little help to spread the word about a free weekly session I facilitate out in nature within the grounds at Gracemount Mansion called Move, Breathe, Be.

I know how much so many of us value mental health and connection, and I’d love for more people to benefit from these sessions that really are making a difference to those who have been coming along for the last 2 years of them running.

So, perhaps you are working with adults that could benefit from being signposted to these sessions are part of their wider wellbeing support, or perhaps you personally would benefit from a welcoming space to just “be” and take time out to slow down and remember that you truly matter.

Those who come along have told us it’s been a game-changer for them, helping with:
• Mind & Emotions: Boosting mood, confidence, sleep & emotional stability.
• Body: Reducing physical pain, stiffness and improving flexibility and strength.
• Connection: Breaking feelings of isolation and building a lovely, resilient group of friends.

Each session blends grounding, gentle movement, and breathwork with a creative task to deepen your connection with nature. We conclude with a cuppa and an open space to share experiences for those that wish to. No "yoga body" or experience required—just you and perhaps a sense of curiosity too!

As a long-time yoga teacher and eco-therapist, these sessions are born from those practical accessible FREE practices that personally supported me through anxiety, insomnia, and health challenges. My goal is to give people practical tools that can support them in daily life no matter what season of life or weather system they might be facing.

From ‘Fret’ to Flourish! 💸✨
I’ll be honest—I’ve been ignoring the pension conversation for a while. It felt heavy, dry, and "later."

But my fab friend and financial wellbeing coach, Rosie, is challenging that. She’s bringing the Facts, Fun, and Fervor to her upcoming workshop, and I’m joining her to bring the Felt-Sense.

While Rosie handles the facts and "future you" creative exercises like vision boarding, I’ll be guiding us back into our bodies and hearts.

We’re moving out of financial "freeze" and into a nervous system state that can actually feel an abundant Future-Self as a reality.

It’s time to stop surviving and start flourishing. 🌸

Spring is coming and with it so many exciting projects and possibilities yet also the deep knowing that this fiery creative energy asks to be balanced with a deeply rested and connected being.

Then the creativity comes not from a sense of lack, or of should or need to or must but from a place of love and being of service.

🌳Join us for a FREE fun-filled day at Gracemount Mansion & Walled Gardens on Friday 21st June from 12pm-3pm.

💙There will be a variety of activities for all the family to enjoy, including:

🧘🏼Health and well-being: Yoga and mindfulness walk, calming music session

🧭Outdoor activities: Orienteering taster session, forest skills and crafts, garden tour, planting and growing

🌭Food and drink: Free German bratwurst (limited quantities available)

🍯Shopping: Well Preserved Ladies selling jams and chutneys, stalls promoting circular economy with recycle, reuse and rehome initiatives

🧵Workshops: Sewing and repair workshop, circus skills workshop

Another beautiful start to the week guiding inspiring souls at Gracemount Mansion's Move, Breathe Be sesh this morning.

This week we were exploring mindfulness through walking, experimenting with how our walking speed affects our body, thoughts and our experience of the spaces we move through and them of us.

We thought about how we could walk with the intention of leaving behind footsteps of joy or happiness or compassion for others who might walk along the same paths later that day.

I certainly enjoyed the slower pace, time to breathe, listen to the birds (they were LOUD! in a good way!) and take in those gorgeous bluebells.
