Apprehension and fear are natural with an unexpected condition for your new baby, but hope and motivation are very essential. This is why I have created HOPE.
When my son was diagnosed 20 minutes after his birth, I was presented with numerous brochures and pamphlets with warnings about everything that could go wrong with my child. I have seen my son flourish into someone I wasn't able to imagine for the first few months of his life. I have created this page so everyone can see the potential of these little persons with an additional chromosome; through photos, videos, personal stories, publications, announcements and events. I want everyone to fill this page with the ABILITIES of people with Down Syndrome!
