Enjoying a lunchtime class outside in the sunshine yesterday.
So good to breathe in the real outside air and feel the ground beneath our feet!

Some wise words from Thich Nhat Hanh from his book Peace is Every Breath: A Practice For Our Busy Lives, just in case you don't make it to class this week.
"If we have too many worries, fears and doubts, we have no room for living and loving. We need to practise letting go."

According to the study walking or jogging, yoga, and strength training appeared to be more effective than other types of exercises.
This is no surprise to people who practise yoga and as one of my students said today "Well we already knew that didn't we!"

A very Happy New Year to all my wonderful students. May you have a very happy, healthy and peaceful year. I look forward to sharing many more hours of yoga with you.

As we begin a New Year consider the words of Thich Nhat Hanh "Because you are alive everything is possible".
