Dr Dhavale Talks Menopause

Dr Dhavale Talks Menopause I am a North London mum working locally as a GP, with over 20 years medical experience. I have recently introduced 'Dr Dhavale Talks... Menopause'.

❔ Why?

⭐Menopause talks (online/ Whetstone N20) for women...and men

⭐Local & experienced GP

⭐Women's Health Tutor to medical students

⭐️ Brand Ambassador/ Key Opinion Leader I have a passion for teaching, and I have been involved in teaching and examining medical students for over 15 years. Last year I won the UCL 'Highly Commended for the Excellent GP Tutor Award'. There is a wealth of information (and myths) about the Menopause which I can never cover in sufficient detail especially as NHS appointments are only 10minutes long. Dr Dhavale Talks... Menopause covers issues such as:
- What the Peri/Menopause is
-What symptoms to expect, how to manage the most common (including at the workplace)
-When to see a Dr/GP
- What treatment options are available (non prescribed and prescribed).

Feeling informed and confident helps you get the support you deserve.

Dr Dhavale Talks Menopause shares that coming prepared with your symptoms, noting how they affect your daily life, and asking questions openly can guide your GP in finding the right treatment plan for you.

🗣️ Your voice matters. Your experience is valid. The first step to better care is starting the conversation.

Menopause isn't a single moment. It's a wave, sometimes steady, sometimes stormy, and always unique.

As Menopause Awareness Month begins, we're leaning into that metaphor on how to ride the menopause wave with confidence.
Because for some, it feels like a sudden crash. For others, it's a gentle ripple that quietly shifts the shoreline. However it arrives, the wave is real and learning to move with it (not against it) makes all the difference.
First tip coming later today.
