Loved receiving this message from a client today! She’s been coming to see me every month for some time to address some soft tissue issues, but with regular treatment and rehab exercises, we’ve got her where she wants to be - pain free! This is always my goal with my clients and the best outcome to hear!

Good luck to all my clients racing Farnborough Half this weekend! Rooting for you!

From 1 January 25, the price for a one hour treatment will be increasing to £60. This is to keep my pricing commensurate with rates elsewhere in the industry and in light of the increasing expense of running the clinic. The cost of a 30 and 40 minute treatment will remain the same.

New pricing is as follows:

60 mins - £60
40 mins - £45
30 mins - £35

Many thanks for your understanding.

Clients often ask me about my qualification when they visit my clinic for the first time. I’m proud to have trained at the London School of Sports Massage and gained a Level 5 qualification in 2008. Massage is a very unregulated business and you can do a course for as little as one single day and add ‘sports massage’ to your skill set! If you’re looking for a therapist, please look carefully at the qualification and make sure it’s a regulated and accredited one. If a qualification is not accredited by an Ofqual approved Awarding Body, you cannot trust the Level they say it is.

Level 3 is equivalent to school A level which only covers basic massage for healthy people with no injuries. The most rigorous qualifications are Level 4 and 5. That’s not to say that all therapists with higher qualifications are excellent therapists or that a therapist with a lower qualification is a bad one - I don’t believe that’s true at all. But I do wish there was a bit more information out there about what to look out for when seeking a therapist - so I hope this post is helpful.

The last few weeks have seen a lot of my clients lacing up their trainers and taking on running and walking challenges. It’s always a real pleasure to be part of their journey to the start line and if I’m lucky they come back for a post race massage and I get to hear all about their event too! Massage before an event can help you be in optimum condition on the start line, and a post event massage can help you recover quicker. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Just treated a young lady for a shoulder and back issue - not only was it her first ever massage of any kind but she also drove all the way up from Southampton and back again just to see me, on a recommendation from a friend. How lovely is that!

About Me

I am Hannah Hall, owner of Phoenix Deep Tissue Therapy, based in Fleet. I hold a BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy (the highest level available in the UK), am a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM) and hold full professional indemnity insurance. I am also a Fitness Instructor and co-owner of Blaze Fitness UK.

I first became interested in deep tissue massage (sports massage) when I got involved in endurance sports in my twenties. I became fascinated about how our bodies work and how we can enable them to train harder and push further. I am passionate about helping to remediate my clients' injuries and to alleviate their discomfort - whether from sporting activities, sitting at an office desk all day, carrying children around or doing the gardening!

We all deserve to feel better, move more freely, and feel empowered by our bodies.

My clinic is based in Fleet, Hampshire. My clinic room is separate to my house, so you can relax in a peaceful, uninterrupted setting with guaranteed easy and free parking. I’m always happy to chat on the phone before you book if you want to see how I can help first.
