We are looking for someone to join us as a Health Care Professional, £12.60 per hour.
Responsibilities of our Health Care Professional team member: -
• We place our residents at the heart of all that we do.
• Our Health Care Professionals work part of a team, caring for the complex day to day needs of our much-loved residents within our homes.
• We create a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
• Assisting our residents with their personal care whilst maintaining dignity and respect.
• Encouraging and supporting our resident’s food and drink intake.
• Seeing each resident as an individual and adapting yourself to them.
• Being a friend to the residents; being there to listen to them, support them and enable them to live the life they want to live.
• Helping our residents to engage in activities.
• We believe in equality for all residents and staff.
• Help to maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment within our homes.
• Updating and maintaining our resident’s records.
• Communicating with family members as well as other health care professionals.
• Committed to high standards and innovation, taking pride in your work.

Requirements of a Health Care Professional Team member: -
• To be kind and compassionate with a positive can-do attitude. Assisting our vulnerable residents should be a natural instinct.
• To be honest.
• To have the ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Excellent communications skills.
• The job involves working within one of our care homes in Barrow in Furness or at Aldingham village, LA12 9RT. Own transport is essential for travelling to Aldingham.
• Rotational Day Positions - Hours are 37.5 a week set on a rota and usually involve three long shifts per week 7.45am-9pm but some night cover is required for holidays and sickness.
• Permanent Night Positions - Hours are 8.45pm - 8am on 7 nights on, 7 nights off basis (Monday - Sunday) or 4 nights on and 4 nights off at our Aldingham Home.
• As with all our positions, the post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, paid for by us.
