Augre Physiotherapy Ltd was founded in 2006. The team comprises of Laura Besnard and myself. We spec Augre Physiotherapy Ltd was set up in 2006 by Louise Augre.
We work closely with general practitioners and two top orthopaedic consultants, Professor Lennard Funk and Professor David Barrett. We treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Though we do specialise in shoulders and knees.

🍀 How lucky was I?
Massive thanks to Butterfield for my voucher 🏆
🏨 I was lucky enough to win a stay at the L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa and I cannot fault any of it. A massive shout out to Ethan at the hotel who could not do enough.
🐉 Vern the mascot of the bank went everywhere with me. The voucher entitled me to a two night stay in an Ocean View room with £100 spending money. I used the voucher that I won for an Indian head massage, neck/back and shoulder massage. Celine at the spa was amazing. I will certainly be back.
Sometimes it’s nice to spoil yourself and rejuvenate.
🤕 Do you have any injuries you need sorting and keep putting off?
In my profession I get to meet some amazing people and we get to see a huge variety of injuries.
🐴 In December 2023 the horse startled and threw her in the air. Unfortunately she landed on her knee and 6-8 hours later it was realized she had dislocated her right hip. She was very lucky indeed to not have broken anything.
🩻 However, she remained symptomatic and a MRI revealed damage to her labrum and ligaments. This was a traumatic dislocation and also I noted that she is extremely hyper mobile.
Therefore I contacted two brilliant colleagues that I have worked with for several years to ask for their opinion.
👨⚕️ Richard Villar agreed with me that this case needed to be reviewed and I sent her to his colleague Ali Bajwa who has been amazing. He immediately put my patient at ease and she is now due surgery in November.
🏊♂️ We are working hard pre-op to make sure she is as strong as possible. We are achieving this through hydrotherapy and gym work.
