My name is Lesley Walker and I qualified as a podiatrist from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1994. I am HCPC registered and a member of The Royal College of Podiatry. I am delighted to offer a wide range of services, ranging from general footcare, diabetic footcare and screening, nail surgery, heel pain, foot pain, insoles, verrucae, simple nail cutting and advice. 👣👣 WALKER'S FEET IS NOW OFFICIALLY CLOSED 👣👣

It's the end of an era. After 31 years, I'm hanging up my tools and becoming a lady of leisure.

I can't thank you all enough for your support over the years. It has been an absolute privilege to do the job I do and I'll miss it loads, especially you lovely lot!

Thank you so much for all the beautiful gifts and cards. I'm absolutely blown away by the kindness shown and the tears are still flowing. The last 8 weeks have been so emotional.

I'll be open to invitations of tea, wine, cake, chat. My door will always be open and I'll always be at the end of the phone if you fancy a natter.

Thanks again for everything. It's time to go smash that golf handicap!!

*RETIREMENT*

As most of you are aware, I made the decision at the beginning of the year to retire early. I will be finishing at the end of June to spend more time with family and on the golf course! Determined to get that handicap into single figures 😉

I can't believe I'm in my 9th year of Walker's Feet! It has gone by in the blink of an eye and we've all been on quite a journey through a pandemic and other trials and tribulations.

It has been an absolute joy and privilege and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you who has supported my wee business and for your support in general. I won't forget it.

I will be leaving you in the care of some fantastic podiatrists and I'm sure I'll be a dim and distant memory before too long! 😂😂

I have a couple of appointments left in June before I finish but can't guarantee there won't be tears. I'm finding it all very emotional. Can't believe I'll never look at feet again as podiatry has been my life for the past 31 years.

Thank you so much again for everything.

Will miss you all but my inbox and phone will always be open. Offers of tea/coffee, cake and a blether will be gratefully received!
