UPGRADE YOUR SQUAT! 🙌🏻

A super common mistake with the goblet squat is knees caving in and elbows flaring out.

If you push your knees to the side as you descend in your squat, you will be able to sit lower in your squat. Pushing the knees to the side also prevents the knees caving in which often leads to injuries and strains.

Tucking your elbows in allows you to have more room to get lower in your squat. It also cues your upper back not to round forward, allowing your to keep a proud chest!

I hate it when I see people sacrificing their livelihoods to get to the gym. A good programme allows you to enjoy all the things you live for, whilst slotting in your daily exercise where your schedule allows.

I hate it when people feel so guilty about missing a gym session when they physically cannot fit it in. Missing a session so you can go for dinner with your friends is not the be all and end all of your programme! A good coach will listen to your requirements and adapt a programme to work around your life.

If you want to go for your Thursday night drinks and late night McDonald’s, I’m not going to stop you. 🍟🍸

My client smashed through her 8 weeks, constantly increasing her weights but also adjusting anything to make sure it suited her and how busy the gym is. With an option of 3 or 4 sessions a week, she could pick her workouts based on her level of fatigue and her busy schedule.

She achieved her goals stress-free because the programme was all there ready for her to utilise it. No fuss, no frills, no time-wasting- just accessible, friendly and accountable coaching… if I do say so myself 👀♥️

OVERNIGHT OATS 4 WAYS 😜🥕🍫🍒
Overnight Oats Recipe:
3 cups Oats
2 cups Almond milk
1 cup Oat milk
1 cup Greek Yoghurt
1/4 chia seeds

Mix it all together=4 servings
Full credit goes to I found this recipe on her TikTok and have fallen in love. 🫶🏼♥️

You can use 3 cups of milk of your choice but oat milks sweet and expensive so I like to use almond too ✌🏼

This has really changed the meal prep game and oats stay good in the fridge for up to 5 days 🥰

OVERNIGHT OATS! 🥣

I made a HUGE jar of overnight chia overnight oats to last me 4 days this week, so I don’t have to waste time making a new batch every evening and I can top it with different things each day!
Yesterdays toppings:
Strawberry 🍓
Kolifa
Maple Syrup 🍁

Oats and chia are great for energy and I definitely need some of that. It’s a fab pre-workout and it’s got Greek yogurt in the mix for some added protein.

I’M BACK BABY ✌🏼
Hey everyone, I’ve taken some time off from insta and I had to take some time off from work due to being absolutely totally run down, riddled with a viral infection, headaches, extreme fatigue, eye aches, fever.
You name it, Xen gets it xox

But I’m back.. a bit slower, but I’m back. My main aim is to sort my immune system out via nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being. The last few months I have honestly felt so run-down, so I’m taking the necessary steps to help ensure that when this happens again (because it will, big up Low IGA fam) I know exactly what to do to minimise the extent of it and even help try to reduce the amount it happens.

Follow my journey! There’s going to be the usual PT, fitness and food content but there will also be lots of personal content about what I’m doing to help support my immune system, and why!
