Meadowfields is a 65 bed en-suite care home in the picturesque area of Great Haywood Meadowfields Care Home was purchased by Northgate Healthcare in March 2015.

A major refurbishment program has begun, all aspects of the home are being looked at with a new management structure put into place. All areas of the care home will be tastefully brought up to our high standard. Meadowfields Care Home is a 65 bed en-suite care home situated in the picturesque area of Great Haywood, Stafford. Situated between Rugeley and Stafford (roughly 5 miles each way), it has lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. We encourage visits to see the quality of the care that residents receive while residing in our homes, the care manager will gladly show you round the home and explain what we can offer. Appointments do not need to be made, but we cannot guarantee the manager will be available due to prior appointments. A member of the senior team will be able to show you round and answer your questions.

We would like to wish a happy Eid Mubarak to all!

Today we have combined our thankful card making activity with our intergenerational one and had the lovely children from the local school to visit us again!

To celebrate Eid we have been discussing what we are thankful for and the children have been busy creating us some lovely pictures! We had a lot of being thankful for our families, our friends, pets and food!

We are always thankful to be around such lovely residents and new friends! What a lovely and inspirational day!

We made the most of the sunshine today with a lovely trip to the Canal Side Café ☀️

Our residents enjoyed listening to the birds, watching the boats drift by, and even saying hello to a few furry friends 🐾

Back in the afternoon, we had great fun with a new quiz which included 'finish the lyrics' and 'finish the film title'— and it’s safe to say, everyone knew their songs pretty well! 🎶

Happy St Patrick's day! 🍀

We started our day with some fitness with Jo in our upstairs lounge!

Followed by this afternoon where we did manicures 💅 and coffee with a cheeky bit of baileys

We might not be able to get outside in the garden just yet to do some proper planting but this morning we have been making some flower pots in our arts and crafts session.

This afternoon we have given our new Karaoke Machine a go!

This morning we have been doing our lovely ladies nails 💅

This afternoon we have been flexing our crafty side and making some jewellery! Doesn't it all look fabulous?

A reminder that our Easter raffle is still being run. Tickets can be bought from activities - £1 each or 6 for £5!

Today we hosted our first cheese, wine and bingo afternoon fundraiser!

Today we have been celebrating Barbara's birthday! Happy birthday and we hope you've had a great day!

We have also seen the first few deliveries of flowers for mothers day! 💐 what beautiful flowers for our residents!

We've also spent our day doing some quizzes games with sam this afternoon whilst Jackie has been out with Toni to help choose the cheese for tomorrow 🧀

We've had a wonderfully busy couple of days!

Yesterday we put on our dancing shoes for our weekly fitness session, followed by a fantastic Magic Lantern show in the afternoon. Our residents enjoyed seeing a collection of historic photographs projected using a traditional 1800s lantern – a fascinating and unique experience for everyone.

Today we celebrated John’s birthday with plenty of music, laughter, and of course lots of cake. A very big Happy Birthday to John!

We ended the day getting creative with some collaging and Easter-inspired arts and crafts. A lovely way to round off two fun-filled days!

Today we had our monthly visit from Church Lane Church, who very kindly handed out beautiful daffodils to our residents in the run up to Mothering Sunday.

The thoughtful gesture brought the biggest smiles to our residents’ faces and truly brightened their day. Small acts of kindness like this mean so much to everyone here.

A huge thank you to everyone at Church Lane Church for your continued support and for spreading such joy in our home 💐

We’ve had a wonderfully creative (and slightly messy!) day today! 🎨

This morning we kicked things off with some collage making, getting creative with pictures, shapes and textures.

In the afternoon we enjoyed decorating biscuits, which will be served on tomorrow’s tea trolley. Lots of fun and plenty of sprinkles involved! 🍪

Happy international women's day to all of the women in our lives ❤️

Today we have been celebrating the birthday for our wonderful June! We have had mocktails and music this afternoon where we have had a drink and a boogie!
