I’m finally enjoying the latest IFPA journal and to see my article in it!
I’ve been in my new house a month and it’s taken me this long to find it amongst the boxes!

Ylang Ylang is one of the main reasons I’m a professional Aromatherapist! I first experienced it in Zanzibar in 2001 on an ‘Island Spice Tour’. It inspired me to start my training the following year.

What are your first fragrance memories?

I love doing workshops and seeing where essential oils transport people to in their memories- of people, places, emotions and experiences.

Who’s struggling with Hayfever??

I’ve had so many requests for support from clients are struggling this year.

Aromatherapy can help to alleviate the symptoms and some essential oils are natural anti-histamines and anti-inflammatories. How clever!

Depending on your exact symptoms I may recommend a personal inhaler, facial spritz to cool itchy red eyes and/or a nasal balm.

Relocation update
A few days ago I moved from Essex up to the beautiful Cotswolds.

It’s a big change for us with a new job for Anton, a new house and a new school for our two boys. But we have family nearby which helps!

Thank you to all my lovely clients in Essex/Hertfordshire. I will be continuing to make aromatherapy and skincare products and can post to any location.

If anyone is near the Chipping Norton area and has top tips or recommendations then please let me know! I’m also on the look for a treatment room to rent, to continue aromatherapy massage and facial treatments.

Today we visited the Rollright Stones, a Neolithic ceremonial stone circle, it’s so exciting to explore new areas and immerse in the local history.

A happy face today as I just found found I’ve passed my Diploma in Natural Skincare Formulation!

It’s a self paced course by the School of Natural Skincare] and it’s taken me about two years. It really compliments Aromatherapy and the facials that I offer, and my clients have given great feedback so far.

For the diploma I created a Deep Sleep Body Balm, Hydrating Rose Spritz and a Gardener’s Hand Cream.

The tutors said ‘The formulations you submitted as part of your assignment were well thought out and formulated! Well done!’

This month I’ve been blending organic aromatic waters and essential oils to create:

😴’Pillow Mist’ - a bespoke sleep spray for a stressed teacher with insomnia.

🌹’Hydrating Rose Mist’ - a gorgeous facial spritz with aromatic rose water and aloe vera for clients in my treatment room.

💜And finally my six year old came home from school last week asking to make a calm spray. He chose Lavender and Roman chamomile aromatic waters and blended them himself. He loves to use it at bedtime. Do your children have any self care practices?
