This free online webinar for parents and carers is led by our Family Services Team, who will be answering some of the commonly asked questions about potty training and talking you through how to prepare your child to use the potty and practise potty skills before eventually stopping using nappies as your child gains confidence.

From January 2026, a new free chickenpox vaccination programme will begin. Eligible children will receive the MMRV vaccine, which protects against measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox.

Research has shown that smoking during pregnancy or after birth increases the risk of SUDI (sudden unexpected infant death) and SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). But researchers don’t know whether va**ng is a risk for SUDI and SIDS yet.

That’s why The Lullaby Trust and Teddy's Wish have joined forced to fund Dr Joanna Garstang’s research on va**ng and infant death. If va**ng is a risk, we need to know so we can advise and guide parents and carers with clear, evidence-based information.
