Hi all,
I hope you are well. Nikita has asked me to clarify why the way we price Botox has changed and what options are available.
Our professional registry 'The Nursing & Midwifery Council' (NMC) has clarified that vials are not to be kept and used for top ups or reviews (current industry standard). This means that every vial has to be disposed of at the end of the treatment.

Botox vial sizes are 50 units, 100 units, and 200 units. Allergan, the manufacturers of Botox, stipulates that a standard dose per 'area' is 24 units. This equates to;
50 unit vial - will treat one to two areas of a standard dose or 3 areas of weaker doses. The weaker dosed 3 areas may mean you'd need to have those areas treated more often.

100 unit vial - will treat up to 4 areas with standard doses (most people benefit overall with the 'Bunny lines' being treated), or 3 areas with stronger doses.

200 unit vials - are used for the treatment of migraines and hyperhidrosis.

There are many options possible and can be discussed at your appointment.

The price per unit has actually dropped from £2.29 per unit to £2 per unit, which makes it even more cost effective.

'Top ups/reviews' can be undertaken but it will mean another vial will have to be paid for (sorry).

Some clients are having a 50 unit vial at the first appointment for their glabella and frontalis (11's & forehead) and then having their follow up appointment 2 weeks later as per usual. We use their second 50 unit vial (100 units in total) to review the glabella and frontalis and treat their lateral canthals and nasalis fanning rhytids (crows feet & bunny lines).

The downside of the NMC's clarification, is that 1 area treatments are now expensive because of the minimum vial size being 50 units.

A little preview of the Juvederm Vycross premium filler by Allergan the manufacturers of Botox. Shaun used, Volift, Voluma, Volux and the exciting HarmonyCa for ‘accordion lines’. I’ll post Shaun’s follow up photos every few weeks as the fillers and bio-stimulators need time to settle and ‘fill’. Areas that were treated; cheeks, mid cheeks, jawline, chin, temples, eyebrows, lips, marionettes, oral commissures, and nasolabial folds. We like the jawline and the knock on effect of reducing the ‘teeny tiny turkey neck’. 😻👏🔥

Hi all,
In preparation for the new aesthetics industry regulations that are due to be implemented and enforced, sooner rather than later, we will be future-proofing by making changes to some of the services we offer from the 1st of August 2024.

From the 1st of August, anti-wrinkle treatments will no longer be available ‘per area’. There will only be two options; 50 units or 100 units. The 50 unit option can be used for 1-2 areas at the standard 24 unit doses or 3 areas of 16 units commonly referred to as ‘baby botox’ or ‘natural botox’. The 100 unit option can be used for 3-4 areas at the standard 24 unit doses or variations. These are just examples and options can be discussed at the appointment.
From the 1st of August onwards, 0.5ml Princess will no longer be available. However for those that prefer the 0.5ml option, we will be bringing in Juvederm Ultra Smile 0.5ml, Juvederm Ultra 2 0.5ml, and Juvederm Volift Retouch 0.5ml to all of the clinics.
The Croma Philart polynucleotide range (Eyes, Philart & Next) will be available soon. We’ll put a post about this exciting range in the near future.
Juvederm’s HArmonyCa bio-stimulator will also be available soon. We’ll put up a post about this specialist bio-stimulator in the near future.
Juvederm’s premium Vycross range of fillers will also be available. The range consists of Volite, Volbella, Volift, Voluma, and Volux and we’ll supply further information in the near future.

Whilst these changes seem daunting first, please don’t panic or feel overwhelmed as staff will be able to guide you or offer assistance in understanding the changes.

Any appointments booked before the 1st of August will be honoured at current prices.
