🏆 MAY & JUNE EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTH 🏆

Late to posting (where does the time go?!) but another HUGE congratulations to our most recent Employees of the month… Sam and Tamara 🤍🙏🏼

Sam has been with us since day 1 (nearly 7 years) and is an integral part of the SHS team. She knows our guys inside and out and always delivers the highest quality, person centred care. She totally understands and fits our ethos and values as a company and truly… SHS wouldn’t be the same without her. Not only does she always fulfill her role but goes above and beyond in supporting with training, key documentation and always thinks of her colleagues. She has been known to bring in treats, presents and is all round generous, kind and super considerate to everyone she comes into contact with. Thank you Sam for all you do… we appreciate you more than you know 🩷

Tamara has been a wonderful new addition to our SHS Management team within the last year… originally joining us as a Healthcare Assistant in 2021 for a couple of years before taking a short break and returning to us in her new role. Rejoining the team in a new position is never easy- but Tamara has taken it all in her stride and is flourishing beautifully as our Deputy Home Manager. Her organisation skills are second to none and she is always willing to learn, grow and help us wherever we need it. You have brought SO much to the team since rejoining us Tamara and we would be lost without your support. The house (and management team) would not be the same without you in it 🤍 Thank you for your hard work, commitment and making SHS a better place.

🎡CAMERON’S WEEKEND GETAWAY🎡

Overwhelmed with gratitude for some of our amazing day team- who took Cameron away this weekend for a mini caravan holiday in the sunshine ☀️

You can see from the photos he had the time of his life with lots of exploring and smiles!!🥹

Taking our guys away for the weekend is a LOT of planning, paperwork, organisation and logistics. Our team often make it look seamless; and being somewhere different is not always easy (despite these wonderful photos) for individuals like Cameron who thrive from structure and routine. But due to the hard work, dedication and passion of our amazing staff he truly had a blast and made some memories to last forever 🩷

HUGE thank you to our team for making this happen and huge well done to our King who did so well 🙏🏼 we are proud of you ALL!!

Yesterday- we celebrated Nicole’s 30th birthday!

WOW WOW WOW… what a milestone 🥹

She enjoyed a day filled with her favourite people, her favourite food, presents, the most gorgeous home made cake (Mum’s are the best!) and lots of LOVE ❤️

Happy Birthday to the woman who shows us all strength like no other… and that even when faced with the toughest times… she is ALWAYS smiling 🫶🏼

🎂 🫧 A BUBBLETASTIC DOUBLE BIRTHDAY! 🫧 🎂

Yesterday we had SO much fun celebrating our King & Queen who both share June birthdays! 🎈

We were joined by the incredible Squidge and Pop who treated us to the most magical bubble show we have ever seen! Lisa- thank you for bringing us so much fun, entertainment and most importantly your compassion and understanding when working with young adults that have complex needs. The way you ensured both Cameron and Nicole enjoyed different aspects of your performance was truly special… and it was loved by ALL! 🙏🏼 We cannot wait to have you join us again soon 🩷

Happy Birthday to our King who celebrated turning 27 today! He had a quiet day of celebrations with presents, cards, chocolate (lots of it!)🤭, cake, sensory lights, his favourite shows 📺 and a lovely walk in the sunshine ☀️
