We have already collected over 150 Easter Eggs so far in our Easter Egg Appeal 2026!

This Easter, we’re continuing to spread the word and the kindness. We’ll be delivering donated Easter Eggs to residents in our local Care Homes and Children’s Ward at Musgrove Park Hospital to help bring warmth, joy, and a little seasonal cheer. And thanks to your incredible support so far we have over 150 eggs!

Let’s keep it going! Every donation really does make a difference. If you’d like to take part, Easter Egg donations can be dropped off at our funeral homes until Thursday 2nd April 2026:

Vernon Monty Hawkins of Braunton, North Devon, passed away peacefully on Monday 16th March 2026 aged 76 at Typsane Care Home in North Devon. He will be deeply missed by all his loving family and friends.

Sarah Valentine passed away suddenly on Saturday 6th December 2025 aged 49. She will be deeply missed by daughter Melanie, younger sister Christine along with her extended family and friends. Soon to be reunited with her late Mum, Dad and Children. Sarah was Known for her love of pets, with many Cats & Dogs over the years.

Georgina Ackland ‘Gina’ of Minehead, peacefully passed away on Friday 6th March 2026 at Musgrove Park Hospital aged 93 years, surrounded by her loving family. A beloved Wife of the late Bob Ackland & much-loved Mother of Susan, David & Tracy, Mother-In-Law of Neil, Gillian & Charles. Cherished Gran & Great Gran Gran (Blaster). Gina will be sadly and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will take place in memory of Gina on Friday 27th March 2026 at 1pm at St Michael The Archangel Church Alcombe, followed by private burial. Donations in memory of Gina are being sent to Porlock Football Club and can be given at the Church or online at www.funeralguide.co.uk/obituaries/142567. The family are welcoming flowers, and a dress code of Black, and if possible a football scarf – preferably "Man Utd"!!!

Clive Victor Barclay of Minehead, passed away peacefully on Saturday 28th February 2026 aged 78 at Musgrove Park Hospital. Now at rest together with his late Son, Russell. He will be deeply missed by all his loving family and friends.
