Join us on the 3rd of February, along with out expert Kirst Savidge, for an hour and a half of learning Signalong and Makaton!

These variations of sign language are used alongside spoken word to help those who struggle to communicate.

This would be a great starter course for those who work with or interact with those with a learning disability or speech/hearing impedement.

Springy paid us a visit this morning to spread some Christmas joy in his festive jumper!

At our Passport Award Celebration, some of our learners shared their experiences on the course and how it has helped them not just in their careers, but in their personal lives too and we were truely touched by this 💚

Today we had a delicious Christmas dinner cooked for us by the amazing Catering Team at the Hospice. Our Catering Team do nothing but the best for us and the patients and loved ones and we are very grateful!

It was also an opportunity to wear our Christmas jumpers, so of course we were all kitted out in style!

Unfortunately, Helen couldn't join us today, so our mannequin Jim decided to join us! There is no sprout about it, we loved his pjs!

The Hospice is starting to look lovely and festive! They have beautifully decorated Christmas Trees in different places: on the ward, in the canteen, on reception and in the lounge.

If you are visiting the Hospice, be sure to have a look! The flower volunteers work really hard and do an excellent job trimming up the Hospice to spread positivity throughout!
