Yesterday we had a funeral at St Marks which was extremely sad as the gentleman left a wife and 3 teenage children. To add to their distress someone in a white Mercedes C200 moved the bollards and decided to park in front of the church door where the hearse needed to go to be able to take the coffin into church. As a result we had to block the Leas for one hour and navigate around the car with the coffin. This is the third time this has happened. Can you all please get the message out that we need to have a little more respect and consider others when parking near St Marks. If the bollards are out they are there because there is a funeral and we need access. Loosing a loved one is difficult enough without adding further distress because the hearse can't park.
