However I noticed the I phone no longer shows the reading in the widget format ? Anyone else have this issue ?

Spot on … what type are you ?

It’s more than just one type.

So true ..I’m T1D and this statement captures how I feel .. how do you feel?

What most people don’t understand about diabetes
is that we are, in a very real way, living on life support.

Our bodies don’t do what they’re supposed to,
they don’t regulate, they don’t balance, they don’t protect us on their own.
Every single day, we manually keep ourselves alive.

It’s not just about “avoiding sugar.”
It’s constant monitoring.
It’s math at every meal.
It’s needles, alarms, highs, lows and the fear that comes with all of it.

Our “normal” isn’t effortless.
It’s survival, one decision, one dose, one blood sugar check at a time.

We make it look easy,
but every single diabetic you know is doing the work
their body no longer can,
and that’s something worth recognizing.
