Hillingdon Shopmobility provides equipment for those with mobility challenges, whether permanent or temporary But thats not all! There’s more!

Our friendly and helpful team of staff and volunteers will help you choose exactly the right equipment to suit your needs and abilities and provide you with tuition on using it safely and confidently. Based in the car park of “intu Uxbridge” shopping centre, we have 22 electric scooters, 6 powerchairs, 20 manual wheelchairs and a 4 wheeled walker with a seat. You can also borrow blankets and folding walking sticks. You can even use our services when we are closed! There are special wheelchairs and small electric scooters available for holiday hire at a very reasonable charge. So go ahead and enjoy planning your next trip, either to Uxbridge town or farther afield. We are open Monday to Saturday between the hours of 9.15am and 4.30pm (last hire 3.00pm)

🕰️Hillingdon Museum and Archives Service at Uxbridge Civic Centre has recently opened its doors to the public, offering an opportunity to explore artefacts and archives that tell Hillingdon’s story, dating back to the 19th century.

January is almost over, but your New Year’s goals don’t have to be. 🫶

Completing tasks shouldn’t require an all-or-nothing approach, and setbacks or the lack of motivation to start do not mean you have failed.

Accomplishing goals and improving your mental well-being is about consistency over perfection and adopting small habits that progress to bigger changes.

Thank you to His Worship The Mayor of Hillingdon Philip Corthorne on opening our Charity Gift Wrapping Service in The Pavilions earlier this week .

There are now 6 Wrapping Days left until Christmas. Find us in The Chimes outside LIDL and in the Pavilions near Wilko until Christmas Eve

Time for a little service to keep the wheels moving. Yesterday a third of our fleet got a makeover, with some having new tyres, batteries, key shaft and a general service to keep them at tip top performance. The rest will be serviced in the New Year.

Hillingdon Shopmobility are opening on Saturday 22nd November 2025 between 11am and 7pm to allow our customers to see the Christmas lights switch on and Fireworks

We will also open on Monday 24th November 2025 between 9.45 and 4pm , when our equipment is being serviced which will allow our customers time to visit the Christmas Market on a quieter day.
