Monday Blues, always thinking of them great days off and brilliant weekends. We so enjoyed our day at Ascot this year—the drama and joy of getting the right attire, meeting with friends, and watching the Horse racing—and the experience of living that day was so enjoyable.
Ascot Racecourse has a long history that began way back in 1711, when Queen Anne saw its potential as a horse racing site. Ascot grew and became well-known in the 18th century and offered a variety of entertainment options, including cockfighting, gaming tents, and freak performances.
Top hats became a sign of urban respectability as dress regulations were introduced, and Ladies' Day's fashionable attire was also introduced.
Jump racing was first introduced in 1965, and the Ascot Authority was founded in 1913. Famous victories include Frankie Dettori's seven-race sweep in 1996, Yeats' four straight Gold Cup triumphs, and Sir Henry Cecil and Frankel's triumphs. Since 1952, Queen Elizabeth II (God rest her soul) has been an enthusiastic supporter of Royal Ascot, and jockey Ryan Moore has had remarkable success there. With all the competitions and international participation, the racecourse is a global success.
From TBS’s perspective, it has been interesting to research the significant technological developments at Ascot, including contactless card payments, audio-visual enhancements, digital ticketing, NFC ticketing, and mobile payment options. Through sports applications, technology and the physical designs of products, their printed circuit boards, wifi, and data technology networking have all been used to deliver distinctive and alluring experiences, collect client data, and offer exclusive deals, all in order to keep our patronage for this historic sport.
