🐾 A Happy Moment on the Road to Recovery 🐾

During a recent hospital stay, our client Mitchell was lucky enough to meet a new friend, a gorgeous therapy dog, who brought smiles, comfort and a little bit of joy when it was needed most. 🐶

We’re so pleased to share that Mitchell is now back home, safe, well and smashing his recovery process in true Mitchell style, with a cheeky smile and a boat load of resilience, he truly is an inspiration to everyone around him. We hope this lovely memory stays with him for a long time.

Sometimes it’s the smallest moments that make the biggest difference 💫💪🐶

🌸 Blooming Lovely Day 🌸

Our wonderful client Terri enjoyed a trip out to Norcutt's Garden Centre yesterday with her lovely support workers Jess and Carly, and just look at that smile! That alone can brighten any day! 😍

🦾 One Cause. One Day. One Finish Line. One Incredible Duo 🦾

This June, two of our own from Prestige Nursing & Care Manchester, Danny and his dad, Howard (who is an incredible 72!) will be taking on the immense challenge of IRONMAN 70.3 Elsinore to raise funds for Headway Salford https://headwaysalford.co.uk/

The challenge:

🏊‍♂️ 1.9km sea swim
🚴 90km bike ride
🏃 A half marathon run

All in one go!

Why this matters....

“Acquired brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time, and when it does, it changes lives instantly,” Danny shares.

“I’ve seen this first-hand through my role as a trustee with Headway, and through my work supporting people living with brain injuries. The impact on individuals and families is huge, physically, emotionally, and financially.

Headway provides vital support, guidance, and community for those rebuilding their lives after brain injury. Quite simply, they are there when people need them most.”

Danny has completed triathlons before, but after time away from full training, this event will be a real test.

And then there’s his dad…

“And my dad… well, he’s 72. That alone deserves your support.”
