E GREEN Animal Physiotherapy Highly recommended, award winning, fully qualified, licenced and insured veterinary physiotherapy. Specialists in equine and canine physiotherapy.

Using a wide range of techniques including physiotherapy, chiropractic techniques and electrotherapy (Laser, PEMF, Therapy Ultrasound) enables me to rebalance the horses skeletal system and ease any soft tissue tension or soreness. This allows me to rehabilitate and maintain health, function, mobility and performance of your animal. Whether your horse or dog is a top competitor or your family pet,

I offer treatments for a range of problems including lack of performance, joint and back problems, rehabilitation, muscular injury, strain or soreness, fractures and much more. I have over 25 years experience working with horses of all disciplines, treating top competition horses to happy hacks. My canine customers include competition, working and companion dogs. I work with a chain of leading veterinary practices treating all their rehabilitation cases from spinal issues to orthopaedic problems. I also support a number of equine charities and canine training establishments. I am fully qualified, licensed and insured and I am backed by governing bodies such as IAAT (International Association of Animal Physiotherapists) and can be found in the Register for Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP). Covering the Yorkshire area.

When treating we always assess for misalignment or imbalance within the horses body.
Both of these can be a great indication of problems with posture, how the horse is trained, old or underlying injuries or even something as small as a management change that needs to be made.

With the techniques of physiotherapy and skeletal alignment we are able to rectify many body misalignments at the time of treatment, with exercises left with the owner in order to build the horses body correctly.

This image is one of many patients I have seen with skeletal misalignments, however it is one of my favourites due to the colouring of the horse making it easier to see. The images show before and after one treatment.

In all our posted photos the horse is stood square at all times.

Handsome Gally showing some great releases today after his skeletal alignment and soft tissue treatment.

Plus Willow showing is a different type of tired 🥱 Having not been to work with me due to the heat for the last couple of weeks and me not expecting today’s temperatures, she has spent her day in the aircon or being entertained by others and their dogs in the cooler barns. She has forgotten how exhausting it is to be a veterinary assistant 🤣🐾

Have a great weekend all.

Today was a full day of horse treatments and amongst them was George (some of you may recognise him).

He recently had a series of electrical acupuncture treatment to his Trigeminal nerve at the vets in an attempt to relieve head shaking symptoms, and we assisted today with a full body treatment along with some cranial treatment.

I think it is safe to say he enjoyed.
