πŸŽ‰ It’s here – has officially begun!

All babies cry, and it can feel really tough at times – but remember: babies cry, you can cope. πŸ‘Ά

Crying often increases around 2 weeks and peaks at 6–8 weeks. This phase will pass, and you are not alone. ❀️

πŸ“’ Better leave = safer sleep for babies πŸ’€

UK statutory paternity leave is just two weeks β€” the least generous in Europe. Yet longer leave helps parents rest, recover, and follow safer sleep guidance. We’re backing The Dad Shift's call for longer paternity leave.

The government is reviewing paternity leave and pay now, and they want to hear from parents and carers.

If you’re a parent, carer, bereaved family member or simply someone who wants to support babies and their families, please have your say today πŸ‘‰ https://bit.ly/4fAR67r

We can work together to ensure families are better supported, and are given a safer start to life.

Your partner can be part of your breastfeeding journey too. It can be a moment to stop, pause, tune in and connect with your partner and baby.

These moments may be small, but they mean everything. ❀️ Spending quality time with your little one is not only great for bonding, but also essential for their development ✨

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘§ When dads and father figures show up, gender equity grows.

Children learn about respect, fairness, and what equality looks like inside and outside the home by watching their parents β€” and dads play a powerful role in shaping those beliefs.
