My coach reminded me to get out in nature recently (one of my favourite things to do) and I’ve been thinking about why being out in nature feels so effortless, calming and mindful
It’s more than just getting some fresh air
Nature gives my busy mind a break
The sounds, the smells, the way light moves through trees, it always gently pulls me into the present moment without me even trying
When im out in nature my thoughts slow down, my senses wake up, and I get a little distance from all the noise of daily life. Sometimes a quiet park, a bird singing or a bit of open sky is all it takes for me to feel calm, grounded, and connected to myself again
