To inspire people, don’t show them your superpowers — show them theirs

In therapy, it’s never about the therapist being the hero.

It’s about helping you see yourself clearly — your strength, your resilience, your capacity to heal.
Growth begins the moment you realize the power was never missing — it was just waiting to be noticed. 💫

💙 Sunday thoughts
I’ve been thinking about the week ahead — what I want to bring into it, and what I want to leave behind.

"Whatever is good for the soul” isn’t always what’s easiest or most comfortable. Sometimes it’s setting a boundary, slowing down, or saying no.

This week, I’m choosing what feels steady and true, not just what feels expected.

Whatever is good for the soul, do that.🌿

Today is World Menopause Day 💜

Menopause is more than a biological shift — it can awaken deep emotional experiences.
For many, hormonal changes may bring up old wounds, body memories, or feelings of disconnection.
If you’ve experienced trauma, these changes can sometimes feel unsettling or triggering.

Please remember:
✨ Your reactions make sense — your body is communicating, not betraying you.

✨ It’s okay to slow down, to rest, to seek gentleness.

✨ Healing isn’t about “pushing through”; it’s about listening with compassion.

💜 You are not alone.

🌿Therapeutic Coaching
I've had several recent enquiries asking whether I include coaching as part of my sessions , so I thought it might be helpful to post about what I can offer.

Alongside my therapy work, I also hold a Level 5 Diploma in Life Coaching, which allows me to blend therapeutic insight with practical, forward-focused coaching tools when requested.

🪴 So, what is therapeutic coaching?

Therapeutic coaching can be extremely effective im the right circumstances. It combines the reflective, healing aspects of therapy with the goal-oriented structure of coaching. It helps clients not only understand why they feel or behave in certain ways, but also how to create meaningful change.

💡 Why it can be especially supportive for clients with neurodiversity (including ADHD):

✨ Provides structure and accountability in a compassionate space
✨ Turns self-awareness into clear, achievable action steps
✨ Supports time management, focus, and motivation
✨ Builds confidence by celebrating individual strengths and ways of thinking

Therapeutic coaching is about bridging insight with action — helping you move from understanding yourself to living in alignment with that understanding.

If you’d like to explore whether this particular approach could support your goals, I’d be happy to discuss it with you. 🌿

Gentle reminder🌿
You don’t owe anyone constant access to you.

It’s okay to let a text wait.
It’s okay to take space before responding.
It’s okay to choose peace over proving your point.

Boundaries aren’t rejection — they’re protection.

You’re allowed to rest, disconnect, and come back when you feel grounded. 🤍
