Be kind to others.
Everyone says that.
But not enough people say this…

Be kind to yourself too ✨❤️

Because the voice you hear the most in life
is your own.

You’d never speak to a friend the way you sometimes speak to yourself.

Health anxiety can be incredibly convincing. Your body feels something unusual, maybe a headache, a tight chest, a strange smell, dizziness and before you know it your mind quickly jumps to the worst possible explanation. Suddenly you are running Google searches, checking symptoms, and worrying about being ill becomes part of daily life.

But the important thing is, how symptoms feel and what they actually mean are often very different things. When we’re anxious, the brain goes into threat mode which activates the body’s fight-or-flight response, which can create very real physical sensations such as:

• muscle tension
• jaw clenching
• headaches
• dizziness
• stomach issues
• strange sensations or smells
• fatigue
• tingling or tightness in the body

These symptoms are real, but they are often the result of the brain being on high alert rather than a serious illness.

The good news is that the brain can learn to calm this response loop.
