How our Pack rolls on a Tuesday ...๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™....tonight was mega!! It was a big turn out so a split session (....keeps everyone on their toes ๐Ÿคฃ) It was a big group warm up then HIIT Like A Girl, our boxing interval session with yours truly PLUS a fab E.M.O.M Strength & Cardio session. Top to blinkin toe or what!!

We workout at 6.30am for just 25mins on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays! It's such a brilliant time to just get up and get it done!

You don't even need to leave your house or disturb the kids - you don't even have time to talk yourself out of it and you feel great all day! Physically and mentally!

I hear this so often! Women 100% DO NEED TO LIFT WEIGHTS!

When you say โ€˜I want to tone upโ€™โ€ฆguess whatโ€ฆyou need to lift weights to build muscle! Cardio wonโ€™t help you reach this goal.
As the years pass we lose muscle mass and bone density, both are markers of long term health, fitness and longevity!
For women the double whammy is that our oestrogen is also dropping as the years pass which maintains bone strength so as it drops so will our bone strength.
Strength and resistance training is crucial for EVERYONE, contact me if you need help starting.

Non specific lower back pain is so common with women and Iโ€™d say half of my clients were having some sort of intermittent back pain/weakness when they started to work with me.

Jayne was really struggling with pain and day to day movement when she started her 121โ€™s and multiple appointments with the chiropractor, GP and orthopaedic consultant were not improving things!
One thing is certain allowing a โ€˜bad backโ€™ to define you, stop you from doing things and make your world smaller is NOT the answer.
Movement IS your medicine! With my help you CAN improve pain, sleep, day to day activities and keep your world big and fulfilled!

The BEST thing to do is return to your regular habits ASAP! No deprivation or punishment just swing back into your regular routine!

Your body and mind really doesn't like extremes... it doesn't know what the heck is going on and will dislike letting go of the excess pounds as a result!!

Just start, do one thing and you're off to a flyer!

Hey everyone, I'm Clare and I'm the founder of She Is Strong Fitness!
I've put my heart and soul into creating a thriving community of amazing women, who I help achieve their health and fitness goals. I also love working with women on a one-to-one basis, in personal training sessions, or wellbeing coaching. My personal experience of being a midlife woman has led me to now specialize in working with women at the Peri to Post Menopause phase of their lives too, which I adore!

It is the BEST job in the world! I've been working with women for 30 years now and all of this experience means that I now help so many women of all ages implement lifestyle changes and lead a happy, healthy life, yes it IS possible to be both!
Iโ€™m a Mum to Holly (21), Luis (17), both are students and yep, itโ€™s blinkinโ€™ expensive! Iโ€™m married to Simon and we also have a fur baby doggy called Milo whoโ€™s adorable!
I LOVE to cook, and I have tons of recipe books that I love to read cover to cover. I adore doing anything active, open water swimming, hiking, DANCING lights my soul up. My most treasured possessions are Queen Bโ€ฆ thatโ€™s my bike. I love to take her out to sail around the countryside with the girls whenever I can, especially as it normally involves an amazing brunch! Brunch is the best! Plus my muddy walking boots, we go on some fabulous adventures together, being high in the Lake District fells is my favourite place!
