😴💙 It’s World Sleep Day – Let’s Talk About Your Sleep Health!

Good sleep is just as important for your health as eating well and staying active. Poor sleep can affect your mood, memory, heart health, and even your immune system.

This World Sleep Day, we’re encouraging our patients to make sleep a priority:

✅ Aim for 7–9 hours of quality rest each night

✅ Keep a regular bedtime and wake-up time

✅ Limit caffeine and screen time before bed

✅ Create a calm, comfortable sleep environment

If you’re struggling with insomnia, snoring, or feeling tired even after a full night’s rest, our team is here to help. Book an appointment to discuss your sleep concerns – better sleep means better health.

💬 Tell us in the comments – what’s your top tip for a good night’s sleep?

Facebook post from PPG meeting

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) for the practice will be having its next meeting on Wednesday 14th January at 4.00 pm.

At our last meeting we discussed a number of issues relating to the patients’ experience at the practice.

We received updates from the practice on impending changes to staffing and ways of working.

Overall the PPG felt that, whilst for some access is still mentioned as an issue, there have been significant improvements over the past year. This has particularly related to use of the phone system and links to other services such as local pharmacies.

As a PPG we continue to be interested in any ideas for ways that the practice could communicate with those who either cannot, or choose not to, use technology. Many messages are now communicated via this FaceBook page or the practice website, which are quick, efficient and cost-effective ways of getting information out. However, we don’t want anyone to be disadvantaged by lack of access to these things.

Constructive ideas would be welcomed.

If you would be interested in finding out more about the PPG, or indeed joining the PPG. Please get in touch with me through the practice.
