Resident doctors will be striking from 7am tomorrow until 7am on 30 July.

The NHS will do everything it can to go ahead with planned appointments during industrial action - especially for patients in greatest clinical need.

Residents in Warrington and Halton are urged to use NHS 111 for all non-emergency healthcare needs as resident doctors (formerly known as junior doctors) are set to begin strike action later this week.

Accident and Emergency (A&E) departments should be used only when facing a serious or life-threatening emergency.

Industrial action will take place from 7am on Friday 25 July to 7am on Wednesday 30 July and will severely impact NHS trusts across Cheshire and Merseyside.

Patients should attend any planned appointments as normal, unless they are contacted directly by the Trust.

From Sunday 27 July there will be a change in time to our Christian Sunday worship service.

The service will now take place at 2pm every Sunday in the Chapel at Warrington Hospital.

All patients, visitors, and staff from Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals and Bridgewater Community Healthcare are warmly invited to join us for a peaceful prayer service

The service is prayer lasting 20 minutes (with the option to stay for 10 minutes at the end for Holy Communion)
