Samantha Nixon: Warrington's Teen Anxiety Coach 🌟 Supporting Warrington Through Life’s Challenges 🌟
My goal is to make a difference, one mind at a time.

As a solution-focused, certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, I specialise in helping to manage stress, anxiety, habits, and more. Hi, I’m Sam 👋

After years of working in the fast-paced world of finance, I hit burnout—physically and emotionally exhausted, anxious, and completely disconnected from myself. That experience led me on a journey of healing, learning, and growth, which eventually brought me to the work I do now. Today, I help teens, young adults, and professionals overcome stress, anxiety, low confidence, and unhelpful habits using a mix of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, NLP, and Mindset Coaching. My approach is calm, practical, and down-to-earth—because I know first-hand how life can knock you off balance, and how powerful it is to find your way back. Based in Warrington, I offer in-person and online sessions. If you're ready to feel better and build the life you want, I’m here to help 💛

"Weird days don’t mean you’re broken"

Some days just feel… odd.
You can’t explain why, you just know everything’s off.

Maybe you're tired but wired.
Maybe you've scrolled for hours and still feel flat.
Maybe you've said “I’m fine” but don’t feel it.

And that’s okay.

It doesn’t mean something’s wrong with you.
It doesn’t mean you’ve failed the week.

It’s just a weird day.
🌀 Let it move through you.
💛 You don’t need to over-analyse it.

You're allowed to feel without fixing.

10/09/2025

No fixing. No pressure. Just presence.
That’s what this month is really about.

I recorded this video as one of my first — because some things feel too important to only post about.

If you’re struggling — or someone you care about is — this is your reminder:

💬 You don’t need perfect words
🤝 You don’t have to be a therapist
📱 You don’t have to go through it alone

116 123 – Samaritans are there 24/7, free and confidential.

Let’s keep talking. Even when it’s awkward. Even when we’re unsure.
Because silence doesn’t keep anyone safe.

School's done. They're home. Now what?

If your young people seem moody, shut down, or glued to their phone , that’s not them being rude.
That’s their brain saying, “I’m maxed out.”

✨ Try this together:

The 3-Minute Mind Reset:
1️⃣ Sit still. Feet on the ground.
2️⃣ Notice one thing you can hear, smell, and feel.
3️⃣ Take one deep breath, slower than usual.

It won’t solve everything. But it gives them space to land.

💛 And sometimes, that’s enough.

This week’s been heavy.
And if you or your teen feel absolutely done.. that’s normal.

The first full week back always hits harder than we expect.
📚 Early starts
🧠 Social pressure
🌀 Masking anxiety
😴 Tiredness that’s more than tired

So if they’re moody, quiet, emotional, or zoned out tonight — try not to take it personally.

Let them land.
Let them rest.
You don’t need to squeeze a chat out of them.

✨ “Do you want snacks, space, or silence?”
That one question can make all the difference.

Back to school doesn’t just trigger nerves; it can stir up panic, shutdowns, snappiness, or teens saying absolutely nothing.

If your young person is holding it all in (or letting it all out), here are three things that can help more than “You’ll be fine”:

💬 “I can tell it’s big...want me to sit with you?”
💬 “You don’t have to explain it all. I’m still here.”
💬 “What’s helped before?”

It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just stay close.

💛 That calm connection ... it matters more than you think.

Back to school anxiety doesn’t always say “I’m nervous.”

Sometimes it says:
😶 “I don’t want to talk about it”
😡 “Everything’s annoying me”
😓 “My stomach hurts again”
😴 “I can’t get up today”

It’s not attention-seeking.
It’s not laziness.
It’s the nervous system adjusting.

💛 Be gentle today.
💛 Don’t rush the conversation.
💛 Just let them land.

If they don’t say much today, that’s okay too.

Yesterday’s sessions weren’t loud.
They were honest.

Teens showed up tired.
Wired.
Shut down.
Overthinking.
Pretending they weren’t scared.
Holding in more than they could carry.

And by the end?
They’d breathed.
Let go a bit.
Connected....without pressure.
Picked up calm tools that actually made sense.

💬 One said: “That was helpful. Like, properly helpful.”
💬 Another: “It was calm. Not awkward like I thought.”

This is the part no one sees.
And this is why I do what I do.

September support is open now. and the group workshop runs every thursday 4:30pm til 5:30pm
DM if you want to talk through what your teen needs.

What teens actually say after these sessions…

💬 “It wasn’t awkward like I thought.”
💬 “I felt less panicky after it.”
💬 “It helped me stop spiralling.”
💬 “It’s calm. You don’t have to say anything.”

These aren’t made up.
These are real words from real teens who’ve been where your young person is now.

If your teen is nervous about school next week — or just doesn’t feel themselves — there’s still time to book tomorrow’s calm reset sessions:

✨ Ages 12–14 → 4:30pm
✨ Ages 15–17 → 6:00pm

Still time to book this Thursday’s Calm Reset Sessions 💛

If your teen is:
🧠 Overthinking school already
🛏 Not sleeping properly
😓 Feeling pressure from GCSE results
💬 Snappy, shut down, or saying “I don’t want to go back…”

This is exactly what I’ve created this Thursday’s sessions for.

✅ No pressure to talk
✅ Calm tools that actually make sense
✅ Two friendly sessions, split by age:

✨ Ages 12–14 → confidence, sleep, friendship nerves
✨ Ages 15–17 → results pressure, motivation, mindset reset

📍Warrington, Thursday 28th August
📩 DM me to ask questions or grab a place

What you see on GCSE Results Day:
🎓 Smiles. Selfies. “I’m so proud!”

What you don’t always see:
🧠 “I should’ve done better”
😶 Pretending not to care
💬 Comparison panic
😓 Quiet relief mixed with guilt
🤐 Hiding disappointment under “It’s fine”

Even when the envelope’s opened, the pressure doesn’t stop.
And not every teen gets the results , or the reaction, they were hoping for.

If your teen has gone quiet, shut down, or is brushing it all off… that might be the real signal.

They don’t need fixing. They just need space to land.

You don’t have to be ready yet.
Not for school.
Not for conversations.
Not for tidy sleep schedules or perfect motivation.

If your teen is still living in hoodies, gaming until midnight, or dodging the “so what are you doing next?” questions, it’s okay.

They are in between. And that’s where the magic of growth actually happens.

Be gentle this week. That pressure to be “ready” often makes it harder to move forward.

There’s still time. It’s not a race. And they’re not alone.

Back-to-school anxiety doesn’t always say “I’m worried.”
Sometimes it shows up in your body instead:

🤢 Feeling sick
💓 Racing heart
😴 Exhausted but can’t sleep
💢 Snappy over little things
🧍‍♀️ Wanting to hide or cancel plans

It’s not drama. It’s not attention-seeking.
It’s your nervous system getting ready for something new, even if that something feels scary.

There are calm tools that help.
And on Thursday, 28th August, im restarting my workshops

I’m running two friendly sessions in Warrington to support teens with this exact stuff.

✨ Age 12–14: building confidence + calm habits
✨ Age 15–17: pressure, results, and re-setting motivation

Drop me a message if you’d like to know more 💛
