🌸💛 It’s been a busy couple of weeks here at Kind Hands, Kind Hearts!

With some of our lovely clients feeling under the weather and their relatives away, our team were more than happy to step in over the weekends with extra shifts. Making sure both our clients and their families feel supported is always at the heart of what we do. 💕

We’ve also been lucky enough to enjoy some sunshine recently, and one of our ladies shared that her favourite thing is simply sitting in the garden, surrounded by flowers. 🌼 So, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work – garden tidy-ups, tip runs, jet washing, shopping for plants, and of course… finishing it all off with a well-deserved cup of tea in the sunshine while potting them up.

The best part? Seeing her now, happily sat enjoying her beautiful flowers again. 🌺✨

🎉👑 Happy 82nd Birthday to our lovely Brenda! 👑🎉

Here is our beautiful birthday girl, enjoying some well-deserved special treatment at our Friday Fun Social 💐✨ And the celebrations aren’t stopping there tomorrow we’ll eat more cake at Tuesday Luncheon Club!

It’s not just the Queen who gets to enjoy multiple birthdays… our Brenda is our Queen, and she deserves every bit of royal treatment. 💖

🩷 Back with a Bang! 🩷

After a lovely, much-needed relaxing break, Team Kind Hands, Kind Hearts were straight back into action this week supporting our wonderful clients both at home and out in the community 🩷

Garden cleans 🪏 🪴 breakfasts 🍳 Dinner 🥘 Teas 🥗 Shopping 🛒 Cleaning 🧹 decluttering 🗑️ Wellbeing chats 🗯️ appointments 📔 medication 💊 And dancing 💃🏾

This weekend, we stepped in for one of our dear clients who wasn’t feeling well. As the main carer for his wife, it was a tough time for them both, so we were more than happy to offer that extra helping hand and a bit of reassurance when it was most needed 🩷

Their family greeted me with a massive hug 🤗 and said “we were a breath of fresh air”

On Friday, this lovely video (🎥) lifted our spirits while out and about with one of our amazing clients. A little dance, a little joy because a good boogie is always good for the soul! 💃🕺✨

✨ The feedback just keeps coming this week and our hearts are full! ✨

To know we’re truly making a difference in someone’s life means the absolute world to us. 💖

A few months ago, a lovely family member reached out, hoping to get some extra support for her parents. Like many, they were a little hesitant at first and we completely understand. It’s a big step inviting someone new into your home and acknowledging that you need a helping hand.

But with kindness, laughter, and trust, we’ve been able to build something truly special with this family. 🌿

Not only have we made a positive impact on our clients’ daily lives, but we’ve also brought peace of mind to their loved ones – reminding them that it’s okay to lean on support and still live their own lives without guilt. 💛

🩷 As our service continues to grow, we’re now looking to welcome casual bank staff to support our wonderful clients. Due to the personal and specific nature of our work, we’re seeking someone who is flexible and has consistent availability, including potential holiday cover.

🩷 At Kind Hands Kind Hearts, our name says it all. Compassion, integrity, and kindness are at the core of everything we do. We’re looking for individuals who live these values and can demonstrate them through both professional experience and a personal approach.

🩷 What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in health and social care
• Experience with complex mental health and dementia care is highly desirable
• Fully up to date with safeguarding procedures
• A current enhanced DBS check
• Access to a vehicle with valid business insurance
• A full UK driving licence, as some clients require assistance with appointments and shopping
• Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and a strong work history

Currently, this role offers just a few hours per week, but our aim is to gradually build this up over time.
This would be ideal for someone who is:
• Already working part-time and looking to top up their hours
• Looking for a small number of hours to start with, with the view to increasing
This is not a full-time position at present.

• Companionship & befriending
• Well-being checks
• Light cleaning
• Supporting clients to attend appointments and shopping trips
• And much more!

🌟 Exciting News from Kind Hands, Kind Hearts! 🌟

We’re absolutely thrilled to introduce the newest member of our Kind Hearts, Kind Hands family Kate! 🩷

Kate brings with her a wealth of experience working with children, families, and within our community. She has also supported young people one-to-one, including those with additional needs and vulnerabilities always offering compassion, patience, and understanding every step of the way. 🩷

Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she’s also a proud mum to two teenage boys, a loving step-nan to her beautiful granddaughters 💐 and a dog mummy too! 🐶

Kate has supported all three of Sam’s children during their school years, so we can confidently say from firsthand experience that she is amazing with people. Her kind heart, caring nature, and dedication to going the extra mile shine through in everything she does. 🌈🙌🏾🩷

Kate has already started covering for us while we’re enjoying a well-earned break, and the feedback from our lovely clients has been fantastic.

And honestly, sometimes a good cuppa and a friendly chat can mean the world to someone who might not see many people. 💬🩷

🩷 A Heartwarming Day at Kind Hands, Kind Hearts 💖

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the amazing volunteers at staff at LifeTime Warrington your kindness and dedication don’t go unnoticed your all super stars 🌟

We enjoyed a lovely lunch together, and a massive shoutout to the incredible volunteers for providing such a delicious meal. If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s just £5 for a main meal, dessert, and a drink and it’s been absolutely delicious these past few weeks! Every Thursday 12-2pm

My lovely lady and I rounded off the afternoon with a game of Boggle, which she said really helped to keep her brain active. It’s the simple joys like these that mean the most 🩷

On the way home, she told me she’s going to thank her daughter for introducing me to her, because she genuinely enjoys our time together and now calls me a friend. That honestly melted my heart and nearly brought me to tears 🩷😭

Moments like these remind me why I’m so proud I created Kind Hands, Kind Hearts. The support we offer truly makes a difference and days like today make it all so worth it 🩷

🙌🏾🩷 Just a Little Glimpse into What We do at Kind Hearts Kind Hands 🙌🏾 🩷

Yesterday was a perfect example of the support Kind Hearts Kind Hands offers unique, flexible, and always with a personal touch 🩷

It started with our very first clients breakfast and wanting some meal prep they’re not fans of microwave “ping” meals and asked for nutritious, home style food instead 🍄‍🟫 🥦 🧅 🥔 🍗

Next, we had the absolute pleasure of taking a lovely lady into Warrington to enjoy the traditional Walking Day parade such a wholesome, joyful morning 🩷

Then onto our next clients, who fancied a tuna muffin. This sparked a very passionate debate about what to call them is it a muffin, barm, bap, or cob where you’re from? Let us know! 🥪

We fitted in a light clean, got some washing on the line because who doesn’t love the smell of fresh laundry drying outside 🙌🏾 and now it’s time to recharge 🩷

Trying to switch off when you truly care can be tough, but it’s so important. So we’re spending time with our own families this weekend and sending love to all of you doing the same. 💫 🩷
