🩷A Day in the Life at Kind Hearts 💕 Kind Hands 🙌🏾 💕
Some days, we’re called housekeepers, cleaners, carers, support workers, friends… even wives 🤪 but at Kind Hearts 💕 Kind Hands 🙌🏾 no task is ever too big or too small.
Yesterday started bright and early with our first client and a trip to ASDA to get their weekly shopping in. Then it was back home to clean out the fridge, pop a meal in the slow cooker for tea, and have a quick tidy round. We even squeezed in some lovely bird spotting a real highlight for our client, who adores watching the birds flutter around the flowers in her garden. It’s those little moments that remind us how much joy can be found in the simple things we often take for granted 🩷
As I left, she thanked me for my time, which always warms my heart. 💕
Next, I had a little break to visit my mum and dad for a chat 💬 before heading off to my next client. Together, we went out into the community to a local lunch club where we’ve made a wonderful group of friends. We enjoyed a home-cooked tomato soup, got stuck into some quizzes, and shared plenty of laughs over a good cup of tea. She told me how much she enjoys our time together — and it’s mutual 🩷
Then it was on to another client who needed a bit of help around the home and some support with their weekly shop. We always have a proper laugh together, and he told me (again!) that he doesn’t like it when I go home bless him 🩷
Finally, I visited a client who’s been struggling with her mental health and feeling overwhelmed with household chores. Together, we organised and decluttered her home, picked up a few essentials from the shop, and put her washing away. As I was leaving, she thanked me again and said she doesn’t know what she’d do without the help, she was so happy to have her home feeling fresh and calm again 🩷
It’s been a full, rewarding day filled with kindness, laughter, and care. 🌸
At Kind Hearts 💕 Kind Hands, we work with clients from all walks of life including those living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, mental health challenges, schizophrenia, ADHD, and autism and every day we see the difference a little support and compassion can make 🩷
We truly love what we do, and we’re so proud to make a difference in the lives of the people in our community 🩷🙌🏾
